Starting from Saturday, 1st July 2023, organized tours are available for you to discover these remarkable sculptures. Simply choose the date and time that suits you best on our page. Registration is mandatory, and tickets are free of charge. Even minors must be registered and possess a valid ticket. Remember to either print or download your ticket to your mobile device for presentation at the entrance gate.
Grazing in Lucan is a collaborative effort between the Embassy of Italy, the Italian Institute of Culture in Dublin, the National Gallery of Modern and Contemporary Art in Rome, and the OPW (Dublin Castle). Davide Rivalta's sculptures beautifully depict the inherent shapes and behaviors of animals, offering a profound exploration of their nature.
To join the tour, meet at the Lucan House estate's main gate (EIRCODE K78 VP44) and arrive 15 minutes before the scheduled time. Latecomers will not be admitted. Please note that only the grounds of Lucan House will be accessible, and there are no toilet facilities or refreshments available within the grounds. However, you can find these amenities in the village just outside the gates.
Due to limited availability, we kindly request that visitors who are unable to attend cancel their reservation in advance. Please be aware that adverse weather conditions may lead to tour cancellations. Additionally, please note that the park may pose challenges for individuals with reduced mobility.
