La Navideña™ 2023, the highly anticipated cycling event of the year, is back for its seventh edition. This event marks the official start of the festive season and promises an unforgettable experience. Hosted by Next Level Cycling, in collaboration with Diesel Engine Technician and Advanced Cycles Puerto Rico, participants will embark on a scenic route starting from the Advanced Cycles facilities in Guaynabo and heading towards CVS in Vega Baja before returning.
The event offers three different groups based on skill level and pace, allowing cyclists to choose their preferred distance and speed. Group 1, with sustained speeds of 20+ MPH, will cover approximately 68 miles with one stop at mile marker 40. Group 2, with sustained speeds of 17-19 MPH, will ride around 60 miles with oasis stops at miles 34 and 50. Lastly, Group 3, with sustained speeds of 14-16 MPH, will enjoy a 45-mile route with an oasis stop at mile marker 22 at Starbucks in Dorado. Regrouping stops will be made if necessary.
Participants are encouraged to register early to secure their spot and take advantage of the special Early Bird jersey offer. Registration does not include the jersey, and please note that it is non-refundable, non-transferable, and non-creditable. Additionally, the event will feature a prize drawing with over $10,000 worth of prizes, courtesy of our generous sponsors.
Coca Cola®, Ensure®, Pedyalite®, and Powerade® will ensure proper hydration at various oasis points along the route. After the ride, cyclists can enjoy the traditional lechón a la varita, accompanied by Puerto Rican festive food and music, courtesy of Diesel Engine Technician and Advanced Cycles Puerto Rico.
