Progress your handstand and learn more advanced skills!
O
nce you have a solid base of strength and control with your handstand, it's time to take it to the next level!
Learning how to consistently balance, how to make shapes and how to press can be great ways to progress your handstand training.
This workshop is perfect for anyone who is has been training their handstand for a while, is confident upside down, or has a freestanding handstand.
In this workshop we'll be covering:
Prepping the body and mobility for handstands
Balance technique
The straddle handstand
How to get started with and progress your press handstand - with a focus on finding lift off from the floor
Single arm balances, focusing on crocs
Strength and Endurance drills
Handstand programming
Spaces will be limited to ensure each participant gets plenty of one on one coaching.
Pre-requisites:
Participants must feel super comfortable in a vertical chest to wall hold for at least 30 seconds, be able to safely bail out from a handstand and already be regularly training towards a freestanding handstand.

About the coach:
Verity has been teaching handstands since 2014 and started training them in 2012. Over the years she's developed a deep knowledge of how to teach handstands to adults, a skill she believes anyone can achieve with the right coaching. She also trains and performs aerial hoop, and enjoys spinning fire.
