Sitting Together in Grief: A JPH Community Grief Conference | JPH at Ferry Hill
Cultural Experiences
Join us for a meaningful day of support, creativity, and community at the upcoming Grief Conference. The event begins with inspiring talks from two beloved speakers: Sandy Alemian, international best selling author, life coach, and spirit medium and Gail Hunter of Goodwill Hunter. These remarkable individuals will share their wisdom and experiences, offering guidance and hope to all in attendance.
Following the speakers, the building transitions into an open-house style event featuring a wealth of supportive resources and activities. In the Art Room, artist, author, and illustrator Amanda Davis will guide participants through three engaging "Healing Through Creativity" projects designed to inspire reflection and self-expression. Attendees can visit the grief resource table for valuable tools and information, connect informally with compassionate local end-of-life doulas, and experience the soothing presence of comfort dogs, Spider and Trouble. The event also provides light refreshments and ample opportunities to foster meaningful connections within a supportive community.
Whether you're seeking guidance, creative outlets, or companionship, this conference is a space where healing begins and connection thrives. Join us to celebrate resilience and find comfort in the company of others navigating similar paths
