The exhibition will feature over 200 photographic works, including his masterpieces such as *Stray Dog, Misawa* from 1971. It will also showcase approximately 250 reproductions of publications and rare audiovisual installations, providing a comprehensive view of Daido Moriyama's visual world and artistic practice.

The political situation was turbulent, a wicked group abused its power, the economy was in crisis, and the social situation was increasingly complex and chaotic. The description of the situation after the French Revolution in the 19th century bears a striking resemblance to our own time, and the great works of Honoré Daumier also possess timeless relevance. Daumier is like a mirror, reflecting his era, using sharp strokes and unyielding humor to expose the abuse of power and social injustice. His relentless radicalism often angered censorship, even leading to his imprisonment for advocating artistic freedom. As a keen observer, Daumier also depicted daily life in modern Paris. This year, the Albertina Museum will host its first major exhibition of Daumier's work in 90 years, and his art remains as significant today as it was at the time of its creation. Ninety years later, with the support of the Steidl Museum Association's collection, the French artist's work will be presented to the world in a completely new light. In addition to numerous lithographs and drawings, Daumier's famous paintings and sculptures will occupy a prominent position—and a short animated film featuring Daumier's works, with music composed by giants such as Paul McCartney and Linda McCartney, will also be screened concurrently.

Artist Helga Philipp (1939–2002) is hailed as a prominent representative of Austrian Concrete Art and Op Art. As early as the 1960s, she developed a precise and conceptually rigorous visual language, placing perception and movement at the heart of her artistic creation. Her work oscillates between visual experience, geometric abstraction, and dynamic formal language, skillfully experimenting with mathematical principles, sequential structures, and interactivity. This exhibition will showcase approximately 50 of the artist's most important works from over several decades, demonstrating her rich diversity across various art forms, including painting, drawing, printmaking, and object art.

What to expect Our 'Special' workshops focus on specific elements of foraging. For this session we will be looking at the preservation of wonderful wild ingredients through the magic of fermentation! Expect 2 hours of exploring the local area, gathering wild ingredients to return to our indoor space to then spend a further 1.5 hours creating and tasting a number of wild fermented products - from lacto-fermented batches of kimchis, shoyus and krauts, to yeast-fermented products such as wines, beers and meads. Whatever your interest in fermentation, you are sure to leave fizzing with ideas and with a jar or two under your arm! DURATION: 3.5 hours (approx 2 hours of foraging and 1.5 hours of guided fermenting) We like to keep some elements a surprise for the day, but here is what you can expect from your foraging workshop: a short introduction regarding the safety and format of the day discussions around foraging tips, safety, ethics, etiquette, sustainability and the law a circular walking route taking in different growing environments around the site. Expect a route of around 2-3km predominantly on footpaths with some steeper inclines a closer look at edible wild species and any poisonous lookalikes by a professional forager a chance to slow the pace of modern life down, meet new people and immerse yourself in a soul-nourishing activity, reconnecting with nature and discovering new flavours A guided fermentation session that will see every attendee go home with a jar or two to nurture at home. throughout the session, there will be tasters and samples of various wild and fermented products, aimed at inspiring you as you create your own batch. our workshops are run in a welcoming and informal fashion, where attendee questions and contributions are encouraged after the event, you will be sent a follow-up email containing a list of everything we found on the day. Please do not expect photos or descriptions in this email - it is purely a list for reference purposes, and we find it helps people do further research in their own time. At the end of the session, there may be a small selection of our wild products and workshop vouchers available to purchase (card and cash accepted). The Vienna Short Film Festival is an international short film festival. Held annually in late May/early June at multiple venues since 2004, it has also been held online since 2020. The festival has attracted over 10,000 audience members and approximately 500 accredited professionals. The festival screens 250 to 350 short films from around the world each year, divided into four competition sections and thematic sections. It is a accredited festival of the Austrian Film Awards, the British Academy Film Awards, the European Film Awards, and the Academy Awards.
