We'll also be hearing a few words from Jenna Massoud, a member of Orsted’s New England government and stakeholder relations team! About our Speaker: John Rogers is the Associate Director for Energy Analytics at the Union of Concerned Scientists, drawing on more than three decades of expertise in clean energy technologies and policies, with a focus on wind and solar. He has been engaged on offshore wind for almost 20 years and works to analyze and communicate the science and issues around this powerful new source of low-carbon electricity. John also serves on the board of directors of RENEW Northeast and the Renewable Energy Wildlife Institute and was a founding director of the US Offshore Wind Collaborative. He started his career in clean energy as a US Peace Corps Volunteer in Central America and cofounded a leading developer of clean energy solutions for rural developing-country markets. About our Speaker: Jenna Massoud is a member of Orsted’s New England government and stakeholder relations team. Hired in 2024, she supports the company’s Northeast offshore wind projects through state and local government advocacy across Southern New England. She also manages relationships with stakeholders such as environmental NGOs, nonprofit organizations, business groups, and academic institutions, and she leads Orsted’s local grants program. She is based in Orsted’s Boston headquarters. Prior to joining Orsted, Jenna spent several years working in Congressman Jake Aucincloss’ district office.
