Daffodil Festival where you will Watch the parade. Meet the Daffodil Festival Queen and the scholarship winner. Tour the internationally known farms at Brent & Becky's Bulbs. Enjoy the rides and games. Take part in a talk on gardening, shop our many vendors, listen to a Live Music performance or have a tasty treat and get your face painted. Exhibitor will showcase a festival to celebrate the heritage of Gloucester and the daffodil industry, to promote a positive image of the county to surrounding areas, to encourage tourism, to promote the beautification of the county, to provide a family atmosphere and to encourage involvement of civic organizations and individuals in the festival which will create a sense of community. Held at GL1 Sports Centre - This will be a great day for families, sci-fi collectors, fans, and every other kind of Comic Con Fan! There is lots to see and do, including out of this world displays and props, traders selling out of this world collections, meet celebrities from Tv and the movies! For those that like cosplay, there will be a wide array of cosplayers on arrival, fans attending are invited to dress up as your favourite tv, Film or other fictional character and be ready to compete in our cosplay competitions! Know your nymphs from your newts, your backswimmer from a lesser waterboatman and find out all about the phantom that lives in the pond! You'll learn more about the life cycles of these fascinating pond creatures and how they survive. Plus, make your own pond creature with our craft activity to take home. Meeting place: Summerfield room by the cafe. One parent/guardian must attend with their child/children. This event is aimed at children aged 8 - 12 years old. Please do not bring younger siblings.
