Christmas in JULY! Make your own Christmas Putz House! 2 Sessions Available! Putz Houses – Christmas in JULY! Return to 19th century Germany and try your hand at the art of making a German Putz House – small paper mache house that were decorated to form quaint villages to decorate the holiday home. Hunt for bargains among vintage treasures, thrifted items, books, art work, handmade items, knick-knacks and more! Vendor spaces are available for $45 per space. Vendor Spaces are 20'x30'. Assisting Vehicles are $5 per car. Box Trucks, Long Trucks, and Trailers must purchase 2 spaces. The event runs from 8am - 2pm. Rain date: Sunday, May 11th. No Refunds Allowed. All trash, litter or debris brought into the Park or generated while in the Park must be taken with you when you leave. If debris remains in your area after your departure, you will be excluded from future flea markets. We will enforce this. 14.NOT PERMITTED: Vendors may NOT display or sell food, baked good or beverages for consumption, or any weaponry including but not limited to guns, bows, arrows, swords, knives. Only knives under 16in. may be displayed if they are in a locked case and under constant supervision. Additionally, illegally trademarked items and items deemed by Allaire Village, Inc. to be inappropriate are prohibited. No HATE material or merchandise may be sold. The popular drink of the 18th and 19th century returns in the 21st, as discovery of this tart/sweet refreshing drink makes a comeback alone or as a great mixer for cocktails. Come out and Celebrate an important day at the Village - the BIRTHDAY of our founder, Mr. James P. Allaire! Mr. Allaire bought the property we now call the "Historic Village at Allaire" in 1822. Here he would create the largest iron-producing site in the State of NJ during the 1830s. The manufacturing of iron thrived largely due to the expansive self-sufficient industrial community that Mr. Allaire planned out. In honor of our founder's birthday please enjoy special historical demonstrations, children's games/activities, tours of the historic homes and craft shops, and MORE! The day includes: Sign a birthday for James. P. Allaire! Games on the Green! At 1PM, we deliver a toast to Mr. Allaire at the General Store – then, at 1:30, retire to his home for a piece of cake and a tour. In purchasing your General Admission Ticket, you will be able to see our historic trades in action including our blacksmiths and tinsmiths as well as tour our period homes to see how each class in the village lived.
