On 9 October 2024, the Bourse de Commerce, Pinault Collection will host a major exhibition devoted to Arte Povera. Between legacies and influences, the exhibition comprises more than 250 historic and contemporary works, as well as pieces that have taken their inspiration from this major Italian artistic movement of the 1960s. This exhibition explains both the Italian birth and the international emanation of this movement through works by the thirteen main protagonists of Arte Povera: Giovanni Anselmo, Alighiero Boetti, Pier Paolo Calzolari, Luciano Fabro, Jannis Kounellis, Mario Merz, Marisa Merz, Giulio Paolini, Pino Pascali, Giuseppe Penone, Michelangelo Pistoletto, Emilio Prini, and Gilberto Zorio. Situated within the unique architecture of the Bourse de Commerce, transformed by Japanese architect Tadao Ando, the exhibition has been conceived as a landscape that one traverses and which becomes the terrain in which the infinite poetics of Arte Povera are rooted. Envisioned by the curator Carolyn Christov-Bakargiev, an internationally recognised specialist of this artistic movement, the exhibition « Arte Povera » features some fifty historic, emblematic works from the Pinault Collection which have been placed in relation to pieces from other prestigious public and private collections.

Amazing experience. If you want to enjoy the full museum, I recommend going in the morning early already and booking an audio tour or normal tour. If you know what you want to see, a later time is also okay.

What a magnificent structure. The view of Paris is wonderful. You have the option to take the lift or use the stairs.

Notre Dame is worth it. It is one of the most famous attractions in Paris and a must visit attraction. It was rainy today and the queue was long. Very crowded. Enter the interior of Notre Dame, deeply attracted by the exquisite religious works of the interior decoration, statues, murals, tapestries and so on. Taking a lot of photos and reading a lot of religious knowledge. Worth a visit.

Visiting the Palace of Versailles was an amazing experience, but there are a few things to keep in mind. The palace is about an hour away from the city by train. The gardens are super vast, so be prepared for a lot of walking (suggest to rent a bicycle, golf car or take the shuttle train🤔). There is no need to add the musical show to your ticket if it&rsquo;s scheduled during your visit&mdash;it was free when I went on april. Also, bring some food with you, as dining options inside can be limited and pricey.Keep in mind that once your ticket is scanned, you can only enter the palace once. Make sure to explore the entire palace before stepping out. I arrived 2&ndash;3 hours later than my booking time but was still able to enter without any issues. Be prepared for long queues, especially during peak hours.Overall, it was worth the visit despite the minor inconveniences!

Bourse de Commerce - Pinault Collection

Ando Zhongxiong provided us with a visual feast of architecture, which is a combination of classical and modern. The on-site management is very orderly and the collection is rich in content. It is highly recommended that friends who like art and architecture must go.
