When you walk into the Sichuan Provincial Museum, you will see a square, solemn three-story building, the style is biased introverted in tradition. The city博 next door is completely another style of painting. The six-story steel structure is full of modern design, with clear angularities and staggered light and shadow, like a huge geometric sculpture standing on the west side of the square, born with the temperament of &quot;net red punch card&quot;. The core exhibition area is concentrated on the second and third floors. The second floor is mainly distributed in the exhibition halls of &quot;Ancient Sichuan (1)&quot;, &quot;Ancient Sichuan (2)&quot; and &quot;Ancient Sichuan&quot;. The third floor is arranged in the &quot;Ancient Sichuan (3)&quot; and &quot;Sichuan National Cultural Relics Museum&quot;. The entire &quot;Ancient Sichuan&quot; series of exhibition halls, although occupying four spaces, but the history of the story stopped in the Tang Dynasty. The ground floor is mainly reserved for temporary exhibitions, and the recent exhibition is &quot;Entering Van Gogh&#39;s XR Digital Art Experience Exhibition&quot;, where many young people wear VR equipment to immerse themselves. Standing here and looking at it, it is really strange. The mountains have completely changed. Their shapes are very different from those seen from the plains or halfway up the mountain. They have become very layered, chaotic, majestic and strange. Looking up, the mountains are the sky, and the sky is also the mountains. There are mountains everywhere, front, back, left and right, as if your nose can touch the mountains at any time.

Huanglongxi Ancient Town | A Water Village Appointment Across Thousands of Years

🌆This time when I went to Chengdu, I finally made it to the Huanglongxi Ancient Town that I had been thinking about. It was really fun to visit, and I must share it with you!

🌟 Historical charm: The ancient town has a history of more than 1,700 years. Walking on the bluestone road, the streets are full of Ming and Qing style buildings, with carved beams and painted buildings, flying eaves and arches. Every detail tells the story of the past. The charm of history immediately attracted me.

🏞 Scenic features:

- Ancient bridges and flowing water: Yuwang Bridge, Longzhua Bridge and Zhenjiang Bridge span the clear river, and the ancient buildings on both sides complement each other. Any shot is a beautiful blockbuster, as if traveling back to ancient times.

- Thousand-year-old banyan tree: There are several ancient banyan trees over 300 years old in the ancient town, with intertwined roots and tree crowns like huge green umbrellas. Sitting under the tree, listening to the birds singing and feeling the breeze, it couldn&#39;t be more comfortable.

🎠 Tour items:

- Folk performances: If you are lucky, you can also encounter the &quot;Fire Dragon Lantern Dance&quot; performance. In the night, the dragon dancers hold the giant dragon and shuttle, sparks fly, it is very lively and shocking!

- Cruise experience: You can take a cruise for 30 yuan, slowly move along the river, appreciate the scenery on both sides of the river at close range, and feel the river breeze. It is super comfortable.

🍜 Food recommendation:

- One noodle: I ate it at Huang Ji Noodle House. The chef tossed the noodles on the spot. The craftsmanship is amazing! The noodles are long and chewy, paired with fresh and fragrant soup and red oil chili, it is super satisfying to take a bite.

- Pearl tofu pudding: The tofu pudding freshly ground by stone mill is as tender as tofu brain, sprinkled with chili and peanuts, spicy and refreshing, I can show off two bowls by myself.
- Charred pork elbow: The skin is crispy, the meat inside is soft and juicy, fat but not greasy, with rice, I drank two big bowls directly.

🚗 Transportation Guide:

- Self-driving: Starting from downtown Chengdu, drive along Chengya Expressway, it takes about 30-40 minutes to get there. There are also many parking lots outside the scenic area, which is convenient for parking.

- Public transportation: Take Metro Line 5 to Huayang Station, then walk to Huayang Passenger Transport Center, and transfer to Bus No. 358 to get directly to the ancient town, but the journey is a bit long, about 1-1.5 hours.

💡 Travel tips:

- Wear a pair of comfortable shoes, the ancient town is quite large, and you have to walk a lot.

- If you want to take beautiful photos, it is recommended to wear Hanfu, the rate of photos is super high.

- There are more people on weekends and holidays. If you want to play in a quieter way, it is best to come on weekdays.

Huanglongxi Ancient Town is really a treasure place. Whether you want to experience the history and culture, or enjoy a leisurely time and taste delicious food, this place can satisfy you. I strongly recommend everyone to check in!
