Les 7 et 8 février 2025, le Goethe-Institut Paris organise, en coopération avec la Bundeszentrale für politische Bildung, le colloque « 35 ans de la chute Mur. Entre liberté et chute libre ». Ce symposium abordera la question de l'impact du tournant de 1989/90 sur la production artistique des artistes de la RDA et de ce qu'ils en pensent 35 ans après. À cette occasion, nous célébrerons l'entrée en scène, il y a 35 ans, d'artistes de RDA à La Villette. En 1990, à l'initiative de Jack Lang, alors ministre français de la Culture, plus d'une centaine d'artistes de RDA ont été invité·e·s à Paris, à la Villette, pour une grande présentation de leurs créations.
Avec un concert de Tom Terror & Das Beil suivi d'un DJ-set d'Alex Pehlemann, nous rendrons hommage à ce moment fort des liens entre les artistes de RDA et la France. Tom Terror & Das Beil a fait partie des projets les plus remarquables qui se sont produits à La Villette. Alex Pehlemann propose un mélange de sons post-punk de l'Est et de l'Ouest, qui apportent l'esprit de l'époque sur le dancefloor : entre l'envie de disparaître et l'énergie du renouveau.

The fireworks at night are very ostentatious, great, not cold weather starts at 7 o&#39;clock, it is worth it

Great place to visit but can get very crowded around the &quot;must sees&quot; I would highly recommended at least a 2pm slot as the museum is massive and it&#39;ll take a long time to go through all the wings. I went for the 7pm slot and didn&#39;t realise how big it was. Only managed to go through one wing before it closed!

What a magnificent structure. The view of Paris is wonderful. You have the option to take the lift or use the stairs.

Notre Dame is worth it. It is one of the most famous attractions in Paris and a must visit attraction. It was rainy today and the queue was long. Very crowded. Enter the interior of Notre Dame, deeply attracted by the exquisite religious works of the interior decoration, statues, murals, tapestries and so on. Taking a lot of photos and reading a lot of religious knowledge. Worth a visit.

Visiting the Palace of Versailles was an amazing experience, but there are a few things to keep in mind. The palace is about an hour away from the city by train. The gardens are super vast, so be prepared for a lot of walking (suggest to rent a bicycle, golf car or take the shuttle train🤔). There is no need to add the musical show to your ticket if it&rsquo;s scheduled during your visit&mdash;it was free when I went on april. Also, bring some food with you, as dining options inside can be limited and pricey.Keep in mind that once your ticket is scanned, you can only enter the palace once. Make sure to explore the entire palace before stepping out. I arrived 2&ndash;3 hours later than my booking time but was still able to enter without any issues. Be prepared for long queues, especially during peak hours.Overall, it was worth the visit despite the minor inconveniences!
