Experience a guided tour through two exceptional juried exhibitions in Los Angeles. The Artists Gallery is hosting a Curatorial Walk Through on Saturday, January 27, 2024, at 3PM. The afternoon will commence with esteemed artist, educator, and curator Kristine Schomaker leading the walkthrough of TAG's annual L.A. Open exhibition. Discover Schomaker's meticulous process of selecting artworks, as well as her vision, challenges, and inspiration. Get to know the "Best of Show" artists and hear them speak about their captivating works. L.A. Open showcases an array of diverse artworks from 60 Los Angeles artists, carefully handpicked by Schomaker from over 600 submissions. Join the discussion promptly at 3PM.

Following this, fine art photographer Eric Renard will guide guests through the juried exhibition "Small Things" in TAG's Sky Gallery. Renard, in collaboration with Kenneth Rooney, has curated a collection that highlights the often overlooked small, precise details in art. Explore the ornate brushstrokes, shadow, highlight, texture, color, and composition that take center stage in the showcased artworks. Engage with the selected artists as they share their involvement and artistic journeys.

This extraordinary event has been organized by senior gallerists Laila Alamiri and Mark Bade. Alamiri, the installation coordinator for the exhibition, will moderate the discussion, while Bade captures the event for TAG's documentation archives.
