Join our high school interns for their capstone event after a year-long internship. There will be various hands-on gardening activities, including building a garden bed for our friends at the Livingston School Apartments, composting, and preparing our garden space. We will have a special garden circle where we plant our dreams for the future. Planting will act as a metaphor for holding our dreams.
We’ll have compost and garden goodies to give away, as well as an opening and closing circle with a brief guided meditation. 
(If you're not interested in the meditation, feel free to enjoy another activity quietly).
Bring water, bug spray, sunscreen, and whatever you need for variable summer weather, including shoes that can withstand getting muddy and anything else you need to be comfortable.

Unless there are severe storms, the event will happen, so please dress accordingly (rain gear if it's rainy, winter gear if it's the winter, sunscreen, hats, and layers).
In the case of inclement weather, we will contact you to confirm if the event is happening. :)
Please bring anything you need to maintain your comfort walking or working in the garden or trails.
Please note that we require you to provide a cell phone/phone number to reach you. We will use this to contact you on the event day to ensure it's happening, especially in the case of inclement weather.

Please do not come if you are sick. Stay home and rest!
Participants must be free of COVID-related symptoms. Please note that if you show signs of COVID-related symptoms and cannot attend a session, you can request a refund of your donation.
