Jericho Youth Opera
 present the operatic version of the classic story of 
Hansel & Gretel  set to music by Engelbert Humperdinck.  
Updated to an inner city setting, we expolre themes of inner city crime and the vulnerability of young people in poverty. We bring you the folk music that fills the score sung in the original German which includes the famous dance duet 
" Brüderchen komm tanz'mit mir" 
, as well as spoken dialogue and sung sections in English.
