Experience the tranquility of nature while nurturing your creativity at Morning Writes at Mount Auburn. This unique event provides an informal writing time for creative thinkers to gather and engage in a new creative practice or revitalize their existing routine. Led by the esteemed Mount Auburn Public Events Producer, Julie-Anne Whitney, Morning Writes offers a serene atmosphere to spark your imagination and shift your perspective. 

Each session begins with a series of writing prompts to inspire your creativity, followed by 20-30 minutes of uninterrupted writing time. If time permits, participants will have the opportunity to share a portion of their writing with the group. Come prepared with paper, writing utensils, or a laptop – anything you need to bring your ideas to life. 

The upcoming Morning Writes sessions will take place at various scenic locations within Mount Auburn Cemetery. Mark your calendars for the following dates and meet-up locations:
- May 20: Halcyon Lake (near Mary Baker Eddy monument)
- June 17: Willow Pond (near Willow Pond Path)
- July 15: Mount Auburn Lake (near Willow Ave)
- August 19: Willow Pond Knoll (near the sculpture)
- September 16: Consecration Dell (near Iris Path)
