Murphy’s Distillery & Bar have teamed with the amazing Chris Cannon of Hidden Liverpool to bring you a fascinating walking tour of the area around Liverpool’s Northern Docks.
The tour, which will take approximately 1-1.5hr, will bring the rich history of the area to life and offer an intriguing insight into the amazing buildings and docklands that where once the envy of the world.
Amongst other things, you will see where over 1 million desperate Irish migrants arrived in Liverpool on the ‘coffin ships’. The remnants of the world-famous Liverpool Overhead Railway. And what is possibly the only remaining six-faced clock in the world. Not to mention walking in the famous footsteps of Bob Dylan, Sherlock Holmes, Captain America and even the Peaky Blinders.
Ticket price includes the tour & 2 x Murphy’s Gin drinks pp.

Arrive at Murphy's Distillery & Bar 11.45am prompt, drink served on arrival, for 12.15 departure. Relax with a second gin drink at the end of the tour (soft/hot drinks available).
Tours fulfilled by Hidden Liverpool and tour information will be given in English language only.
Whilst the walk is fairly flat, please be mindful that it may take 1.5 hours and you will need to be able to keep up with the group.

Anfield has always been a nice stadium. The Kop driving the atmosphere into the other stands. Now they two stands have been extended I have been worried that the atmosphere might be lost, particularly when seared in the upper tiers but having experienced several seat locations I have to say that it&#39;s as good as ever. Probably one of the good stadiums in Europe.The exterior has been vastly improved over the years too , We did the stadium tour and it was very good. Audio tour on every corner. 😃

I didn&#39;t know much about this museum at first, but my son insisted on going. I took a taxi in the rain and it was really rewarding. The special exhibition of the return of the gods inside is all cultural relics from the ancient Roman era. It is a group of statues from Zeus in ancient Greece. You can see the complete body of Venus and the heroic Athena. The background music is that people in ancient Rome held banquets and created a god for this purpose. There is a painting from Rubens&#39; studio that is very funny. You can take a closer look. The ancient Egyptian pavilion of the museum made my son praise it. Compared with the exhibition of the British Museum, the layout here is reasonable, the description is clear, and the display is clear! In the eyes of an outsider like me, it&#39;s not crowded with people in the British Museum anyway, and I can&#39;t see anything. I came to Liverpool and I knew that the research on ancient Egyptian civilization here is not inferior to the British Museum! Friends who are interested can come and take a good look. The World Museum is indeed worthy of its name. It has a cultural relic exhibition hall from all over the world. It&#39;s the first time I&#39;ve seen anything related to Eskimos! Because parking was not allowed at the entrance of the museum and it was raining heavily outside, we asked the staff about the location of the nearby roads. He specially took out a nearby map for us and introduced the situation in detail. Thank you. In fact, St. John&#39;s Garden is next to the museum, but it was a pity that it rained heavily and we didn&#39;t have a chance to take a good walk. Going further, you can see the Shankly Hotel. My son said that this should be a must-check-in place for Liverpool fans.
