Créé en 1967, l’October Salon est un événement artistique incontournable à Belgrade, mettant en lumière les œuvres d’artistes serbes et internationaux. Depuis 2012, une collection s’est peu à peu constituée, à la faveur des rencontres avec les artistes invité·es à participer à la biennale. Les films projetés et présentés durant la soirée au macLYON sont issus de cette collection. La sélection proposée par Zorana Đaković Minniti offre la part belle aux artistes pour qui l’image animée est un moyen de donner forme à une pensée critique et qui témoignent de leur héritage culturel yougoslave. Ce partenariat est proposé durant la 17ème Biennale de Lyon et à l’occasion de la 60ème édition de l’October Salon, présenté à Belgrade du 20 octobre au 1er décembre 2024, dont Matthieu Lelièvre, responsable des collections du macLYON, est co-commissaire. Une soirée de projections de films issus de la collection du macLYON est programmée lundi 2 décembre 2024 au Cinéma du Centre Culturel de Belgrade. Old Lyon is particularly famous for its Renaissance architecture, and the architectural imprint of this period is particularly noticeable throughout the area.

Old Lyon, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, not only showcases the style of the Renaissance but also bears witness to the economic prosperity of the period. This historic district is divided into three distinct areas: Saint-Jean, Saint-Georges, and Saint-Paul. Each neighborhood has its own unique character and history.
The Saint-Jean neighborhood is the center of the old town, famous for its Gothic-style Saint-Jean Cathedral, as well as its many stone-paved alleys and Tuscan-style courtyards.
The Saint-Georges neighborhood is the birthplace of the silk industry and has many famous alleys and hidden passages that were once widely used by merchants.

We took the cable car up the mountain, and when we got off the cable car, we found ourselves standing in front of the church. After visiting the church, we found a place similar to a small garden, where we could have a cup of coffee while overlooking the city below the mountain.

Two days at the Church of Our Lady of Lyon Fulvier, France, a person walked around Lyon. When I read The Little Prince as a teenager, I felt that the story was full of loneliness. When I came to the little prince&#39;s hometown, I was melted by Lyon. Gothic and Byzantine styles filled the French colors when we went to the Church of the Virgin of Fuvier . It coincided with the worship of the faithful . Stand in the last row and watch silently . When the faithful sang the gospel , they flashed back to their minds &ldquo;Pray for the Father to be a good man for ten minutes.&rdquo; Overlooking the city of Lyon at the top of the mountain, the shining Rhone River flows quietly, and the accordion melody is in my ears. From the top of the mountain, along the trail, you can see houses of different colors, just like the city of Lyon. At the same time, the church bells followed closely. In the building of the Lyon celebrity mural, I found a bakery for breakfast. The boss also brought a cup of coffee and sat next door. Seeing me taking pictures, I was very enthusiastic about helping me take pictures (although it was not very good hahaha), but it smashed my inherent impression of the French. An ancient building, it is well worth spending half a day to see, there are many great collections, the layout is very good, you won&#39;t get lost when walking, there is a very beautiful small garden, you can rest there when you are tired.

Although the theater is not well preserved, with only about a quarter of its original size left, it is still in normal use. We also saw some sound and light equipment on site. It must be very exciting to be able to enjoy a performance here.
