Reach for the Stars - Ellen Ochoa
The Latino Legacy Foundation's Storytellers Series invites you to an inspiring afternoon with astronaut Ellen Ochoa, Ph.D., at the 
Parma Payne Goodall Alumni Center at SDSU. 
Get ready to be motivated and learn from the first Latina woman to travel to space. This in-person event is a rare opportunity to hear firsthand about Dr. Ochoa's out-of-this-world experiences. Ellen is also the former Director of NASA's Johnson Space Center and in 2024 was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the nation's highest civilian honor.
The festive afternoon at SDSU begins with a welcome by strolling mariachis-Mariachi Amapolas- all female musicians.
Seats are complimentary but are limited. A reserved seat is required.
Doors open at noon.
Pay parking is available at Structure 7, next to the Parma Payne Goodall Alumni Center.
