I came to Dujiangyan with admiration for ancient water conservancy projects. This is not only the origin of the world&#39;s water conservancy culture, but also the source of the Land of Abundance.

As soon as I entered the scenic area, I saw a wide river rushing past, which is the Minjiang River. The surging river is magnificent, making people feel the power of nature. Walking along the plank road by the river, I saw the core project of Dujiangyan-Yuzui Diversion Dike. It divides the Minjiang River into two, one side is the inner river, which is used for irrigation; the other side is the outer river, which is used for flood discharge. More than 2,000 years ago, the ancients created this miracle with their wisdom, which is amazing.

Continuing forward, it is Feishayan and Baopingkou. Feishayan is cleverly designed to automatically discharge sand and flood to prevent siltation; Baopingkou is like a huge bottleneck, controlling the water flow of the inner river and making it flow evenly to the Chengdu Plain. Standing in front of the Baopingkou, watching the river water gushing out from the narrow mouth, I seemed to see the indomitable spirit of the ancient Shu people in the face of floods.

Wuhou Shrine

I came to the Wuhou Temple in Chengdu with reverence. This is the only temple in China where the emperor and his ministers are worshipped together. It is also a place to commemorate Zhuge Liang, the prime minister of Shu Han during the Three Kingdoms period.

As soon as I entered the gate, I saw a courtyard with towering ancient cypresses, as if telling the vicissitudes of history. Walking along the central axis, there are the main gate, the second gate, the Liu Bei Hall, the hall and the Zhuge Liang Hall. The Liu Bei Hall is solemn and majestic. In the middle is a statue of Liu Bei, and on both sides are his civil and military officials, each of them is lifelike. I stood in front of the statue of Liu Bei, as if I saw his sincerity in visiting him three times and his ambition to unify the world.

After passing through the hall, it is the Zhuge Liang Hall. The incense in the hall is curling, and in the middle is a seated statue of Zhuge Liang, with a feather fan and a scarf, and a deep gaze, revealing a sense of wisdom and majesty. The walls on both sides are full of couplets and poems left by literati and poets of all dynasties. The most famous one is the &quot;Attack the Heart Couplet&quot; - &quot;If you can attack the heart, the rebellion will disappear. It has been known since ancient times that soldiers are not belligerent; if you don&#39;t judge the situation, both leniency and strictness will be wrong. Later, you must think deeply about governing Shu.&quot; This is not only a praise for Zhuge Liang&#39;s wisdom in governing Shu, but also an inspiration to future generations.
