Nice hotel with water fountains on every floor. I would give this a 4/5 though because the elevators are atrocious. You have to wait 10-20 minutes sometimes just to get back up or down. And not all elevators go to all floors which is very inefficient. They also had the pool closed and the gym was just treadmills and bikes. Where are the weights? lol All in all it was still a good experience and we had a nice time while visiting Taipei. There is a lot around the Ximending area where the hotel is located.

We have enjoyed our stay. It’s new, modern and very clean. The first night was wonderful and quiet. The second night, we had a family next door talking till midnight which was so noisy and annoying. We have told the hotel during the check in that we would like a room in quiet corner or next to quiet elderly residents. Apart from that, it was a good experience for our family. The breakfast is not bad, can be improved.

One of the best stays I had in Taipei. The location is perfect, just beside XMD so it's not noisy and very peaceful at night. Room was clean and new, housekeeping is on alternate days, you can request for daily of required. There's water dispenser, teabags, coffee, bottle water at the lobby which was really convenient. It's also one of the taller buildings in the area so the view was amazing, we had a clear view of the vicinity and also tamsui river. 🥰 We even managed to find food establishments that was open on Typhoon day, despite schools and work places were supposed to be closed. The Hello Kitty 7-11 is just opposite, and many conveniences stores within minutes. Would definitely return!

The hotel is very new, the price on Trip.com is very good, the room is larger than the average hotel, the facilities are good, the room rate includes breakfast, the breakfast is rich and has many choices, the service of the catering staff is excellent. There is a children's playroom on the second floor. The activity center includes a large naked bathing area for men and women, a gym, etc. Free beer, juice and cookies are provided. The hotel is located in a remote and quiet area. It costs about NT$150 by taxi from Taichung Xinwuri High Speed ​​Rail Station and is a 7-minute walk from Taiwan Railway Chenggong Station, 400 meters away. I had the accessible room for one night. I cannot complain about the stay. The room was in good size and the staff were friendly. The location was not the most convenient but the hotel has a nice 7seater as shuttle to the Metro in the day time. The amenities in the room may require an upgrade as switches and system are not quite there yet. The swimming pool and gym were good. Else, would stay again if it fits the budget.

We stayed here for a couple of nights. It's a typhoon day in Taiwan, all shops are closed, super windy that day. No choice but nowhere to go. Front desks are very accommodating, since last minute I did a room, and a lot of cancel room thats why I was able to get one, due to the said typhoon. Big room, huge beds, and a sort of mini dining table. Basically, it's so spacious. Corridors are big, and the design of the hallway overlooking the dining area is nice. But better with good signs of the room designation, if not, you might get lost. The hotel is very convenient with a convenient store beside it. MRT, Arena, shopping mall is just right the corner. Recommend for next stay. 我们在这里住了几晚。刚好入住时台风天，所有商店都关门了，那天风超大，别无选择，无处可去，住能留在饭店。 前台小姐非常热情，因为我临时多订了一间房，而且有很多人取消了房间，所以我才能订到，因为台风，不然爆满刚好当天‘’大明星开演唱会‘’’ 房间很大，床也很大，还有一张迷你餐桌。基本上，房间很宽敞。走廊很大，设计也很好，但美中稍有不足，最好走廊能有好的房间指示牌，不然你可能会迷路。 酒店非常方便，旁边有便利店。捷运、Arena、购物中心就在拐角处。 总言，饭店不错，值得再来住。

Although Room is old but clean and spacious. Hotel Staff Kay is very friendly and helpful. She recommended one of the best goose we ever tasted. Quite a walking distance from the near by train station.

Orient Luxury Hotel in Chiayi offers extremely nice and comfortable rooms, perfect for a relaxing stay. However, the air-conditioner couldn’t be switched off and was a bit noisy, which might be inconvenient for light sleepers. The breakfast buffet was good but very busy, primarily catering to local guests, which can feel a bit overwhelming during peak times. Overall, a pleasant stay with a few minor drawbacks

The hotel was not near any train station ao we have to take a taxi from Taichung HSR to the hotel. Check in was smooth and the room was one of the best hotel we have stayed in Taiwan. Very spacious and clean. Comes with bathtub and a TV while you are soaking. We got a very nice room that we are able to see countdown fireworks. Hotel location is good as it is about 5 mins walking dostance to Fengjia Night Market. Walkable to convinence stores and eateries. Highly recommend to stay here.

Room is clean and spacious enough for 2 28-inch luggages to be left open with sufficient room to walk. Housecleaning is prompt and efficient! Counter stuff is always smiling and ready to help. Great location too! Yummy breakfast! Surely coming back!

Nice hotel lobby and friendly staff. Room is spacious with a relaxing forest view. Cleanliness is on point and beds are really comfy. Things that drag down the rating for this hotel. 1. Breakfast was a tad too average. 2. Its regrettable that they dont do cleaning service from evening onwards though they can replenish amenities and clear rubbish out of the room.

It's in a great location, within walking distance of public transportation and pretty much all Xinbeitou places of interest. The staff were very kind and friendly. Our room was very large and the bed was big and comfortable too. The free snacks, tea and coffee were a nice touch. I read other reviews complaining that the rooms are old and in need of renovation. The curtains were old and had holes in them, but other than that our room was in good condition. We made good use of the hot spring bath, which was our main reason for coming up to Beitou. I was surprised that bathrobes were not provided, which would have been appreciated. The bathroom stayed damp after using the steamy hot bath on the first day, but the cleaning staff wiped it down on the second day. If it hadn't been quite so cold outside we could have opened the bathroom window to let it dry out more quickly. Breakfast was typical buffet style, maybe not enough variety for typical Westerners, but we were satisfied with the selection. All in all, it's a nice hotel for visiting Xinbeitou area and having your own large hot spring bath.

It’s a good place to stay and relax. The room is very spacious and comfortable. Walkable distance to Xiaonanmen mrt station. there is shuttle bus every 2 hours to XiMending or Longshan temple (both location have mrt). There is a shops and even carrefour near the hotel with a 5mins distance walk. The staff is very friendly and would also recommend places to visit. Do take note that there is a deposit of SGD$220 during check-in. Will definitely come back again!

Room was slightly smaller, and the windows needed some cleaning. The hotel had a lot of room guests and patience for the lifts would be needed during peak periods. The hotel breakfast was excellent with a good spread of food, but due to the number of guests, one would have to choose a breakfast timing (7 am, 8 am or 9 am) to prevent overcrowding. Gree underground parking was available.

Overall services were good, from concierge, to check in and check out. The room that was allocated to us was spacious however they could have done better to do regular maintenance on their TV channels and systems. Some channels showed black screen with audio whereas some with visuals but no audio. Called up for service and they got a technician over to check yet no outcome and they decided to brush me off by blaming it on system updates backend. Tried over the next few days and still didn't work, and gave up eventually. Not returning to this hotel for my next trip to Taichung.

Will not come again. This was a horrible experience, I used to stay at this hotel many times years ago, but clearly this is not that same hotel anymore. Staff was friendly, but it was quite chaotic when we checked in, we could not find the bell boy to leave our bags. Breakfast was a joke, we sat in ridiculously low chairs for breakfast, and when I saw the manager, note, the manager not a waitress, picked up a bottle of yogurt from the floor and put back to the bowl for guest, it was quite shocking to me so I asked her why did she do that, she simply said to me ”it's not broken”. What a hotel！！

Everything is good at this place. They provide laundry and drying service. I really like it. They also send a cute gift on ***** New Year Holiday. I love it so much. I would recommend this place if you visit Taichung. If I have chance comeback Taichung I will still choose this hotel. Thank you for everything ＜3 ＜3 ＜3

Great hotel for families. The staff were great and breakfast was very comprehensive. Large rooms and there was a large play area on one of the floors which was beside the gym and laundromat. The service staff were so nice to help us with the laundry machines.

Location was very good, walkable to a number of tourist attractions such as Painted Animation Lane. Room had the necessary features, though small and tired looking. Comfortable bed. Towels were changed daily but need to be completely replaced. All the towels are very thin. Breakfast was passable. I had croissant and bread each morning. There was a multi-lingual coffee machine that provided espresso or americano. Cold milk can be added to coffee and heated up in microwave. Marcus at the front desk was friendly. He helped us out when our travel adapter didn't work. Overall, a comfortable stay. Just go with an open mind :)

Great hot spring hotel that covers all your needs! Located in walkable distance to all local business, eatery and bars yet, yet located in the quiet part of the area. Easy to catch taxi, Uber or taking the bus as bus stop is just right in front of the hotel. The hotel also offers complimentary happy hour with a variety of wines and spirits to choose from, or can always go for a coffee, tea or juice. A complimentary mini-bar is also offered! Breakfast selection is great too.

The hotel is very close to Jiaoxi Station, just a few minutes away. Opposite the hotel is Yishunxuan souvenir shop, and across from it is Tangweigou Hot Spring Park. There is also the Jiaoxi Night Market in the evening, which is very lively. The hotel room is clean, the location is excellent, there are many small shops nearby, the price is cost-effective, I will stay here next time, it is worth recommending 👍🏻

As a solo traveler, I was pleasantly surprised by the exceptional experience I had at Just Sleep Hotel. The hotel's location is truly exceptional, conveniently situated in the centre of that small town. This made it incredibly easy for me to explore the area and get around without any hassle. The staff went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable, offering helpful recommendations and attending to my every need.I felt truly cared for and catered to throughout my time at Just Sleep Hotel. It truly is a home away from home. I will definitely be returning for my next visit to the city.

The greater the expectations, the greater the disappointment. It’s been a while since I’ve written such a long comment. No malicious comments, just sincerely disappointed. Facilities: At this price, the room facilities are a bit disappointing. 1. There are not many TVs to watch. 2. The bathroom decoration is not very good; the bathtub is small...the toilet water pressure is not enough... 3. The elevator…it took a long time… 4. The slippers in the room are too cheap... You can refer to Just Sleep or Jingquan next door. Serve: 1. The front desk service is just like that. There is no enthusiastic introduction to hotel services and facilities. Although breakfast is included with the room rate, at least tell the customer the time and place of the meal. (It makes me feel like I have lived there) 2. When I have breakfast alone, I don’t bring guests to the side to eat. It feels very uncomfortable and makes me want to be autistic. 3. WIFI should be mentioned when handing over the room card to the customer, instead of asking the customer to call the front desk to ask, and then the front desk will inform the room that there is an A4 paper with writing on it.

Before we arrived, I emailed the hotel to require assistance from hotel to check for private charter car service for YiLan and the staff was very responsive and helpful. Upon arrival, front desk staff was a little cold (unlike what people mentioned in the reviews). We were swiftly checked in and could go up to the room. Hotel lobby is very cosy and welcoming, but the rooms are starting to look a little old with moulding and wear and tear. Very large, spacious and clean room. If I'm not wrong, the water to fill up the tub is not hot spring water but just normal tap/shower water. If you're looking for a hotel with with hot spring water, do take note. Location of the hotel is great though. We were very near Jiaoxi bus transfer station and managed to walk to our hotel within 5 mins. There are restaurants and fast food, bar, and a shopping area nearby. Jiaoxi hot spring night market (only open on Sundays) is 4mins drive away and Yilan train station was 10mins on foot. Breakfast service was great! Staff were quick to clear and set up tables without making us feel like we were being chased out. They were also very sweet. On our 3rd morning, we needed to leave to rush for our bus to Taoyuan, we were holding our luggages and they directed us to store our luggages with the front desk first. They saw that we were in a rush and told us that we could let them know if we're would like to take along some snacks or drink to accompany us on our trip. They even bid us good bye. Check out process was smooth with an aloof staff. Felt like he couldn't be bothered.

A very comfortable family hotel, very close to Luodong Night Market. The kids had so much fun in the playroom that they didn’t want to leave! Highly recommended for families with children to come here! I will choose this hotel next time I come to Yilan!

This is an excellent hotel! It looks clean and posh; both interior and exterior and there is a hot spring tub in the room! Room is not that extremely big but is good enough for the 3 of us! Hotel staff lady warned us of big group during our stay and prealerted us in advance to come early for breakfast in order to avoid the massive jam. What a good gesture! Breakfast spread is good and I like the overall hotel vibe. Regretted that we should have stayed for another night if time permits! Nothing else to fault, all almost perfect!

It’s low to the ground, which made it absolutely perfect for our toddler and 1-year-old. Orient Luxury Hotel in Jiaoxi is a fantastic choice for families, especially those with young kids. If you’re looking for a comfortable, family-friendly hotel in Yilan, this is definitely a great option. We left feeling refreshed and can’t wait to come back for another visit! The grandparents especially loved it—it was so convenient for them to enjoy the hot spring without having to leave the room. It really helped us recharge for the next day! The breakfast buffet was great! There was a good mix of Western and local ********* dishes, and everything was fresh and delicious. The kids enjoyed the pancakes and fruit, while the grandparents appreciated the traditional congee and hot tea.
