YollandiI don’t usually leave negative reviews, but I feel compelled to share my experience in the hope that it encourages some improvements.
Unfortunately, my stay at Nalagi Hotel was far below my expectations. From the moment I checked in, the experience got off to a disappointing start. The front desk attendant was cold and unwelcoming, never made eye contact, and didn’t smile once. She appeared annoyed to be there, which was a stark contrast to the genuine warmth and hospitality I experienced at other hotels in Nadi during this trip.
The room was spacious, but it lacked thoughtful design and attention to detail. The main light switch is inconveniently located below the television, with no bedside lamps or nightstands, meaning that if you wanted to read in bed or simply turn the lights off, you had to get up each time. There was also a persistent unpleasant odor coming from the bathroom drain, and overall cleanliness and maintenance left much to be desired. The hotel feels worn and tired, as though very little care has gone into its upkeep. That’s perhaps the biggest disappointment, because the property has so much potential that simply isn’t being realized.
The final straw came on my second night. I was repeatedly woken between 1:00 and 2:00 a.m. by neighboring guests who were aggressively banging on a nearby door so loudly it sounded as though they were trying to break it down. Once they eventually got into the room, the noise continued. I called reception to report the disturbance and was told security would be sent, but if they did come, it had little effect. Eventually, I had to get out of bed and ask the guests myself to keep the noise down.
I genuinely wanted to enjoy my stay, but the combination of poor service, lack of maintenance, hygiene concerns, and the handling of the late-night disturbance made for a very disappointing experience. With better management, staff training, and investment in the property, Nalagi Hotel could be a wonderful place to stay. Sadly, that was not my experience.

ZoeZoeLo1. I arrived at the hotel at 9am, because of the room not yet ready, we wait until at 1pm, the staff said the room is almost check out, will be ready at 2:30pm, we wait for almost 6 hours, until after 3pm, it's the check in time, the staff said the room still not yet ready. OMG... but at last, thank you to Trip.com for resolving the problem; we got a refund for the first night.
2. Room service is really bad; the box of tissues, the shampoo, and the body lotion all need to wait for a day to refill.
3. The lobby is very, very small, does not look like a 5-star hotel, and many people sleep on the sofa; they also wait for a long time to check in.
4. The Fiji Airlines counter is not open all the time, so we had to take the luggage by ourselves and check in at the airport at last.
5. The only good point to stay is that the port is very near, it's convenient for island hopping, and the restaurants are not bad.

Kingfeet99We had a very pleasant stay at the DoubleTree by Hilton Fiji - Sonaisali Island. The biggest highlight of this hotel is definitely the staff — everyone was genuinely friendly, welcoming, and always trying to help with a smile. You can tell the team really cares about the guests, and that makes a huge difference.
The hotel itself is quite remote and isolated, which can be either a positive or a negative depending on what you are looking for. There is no real private beach for swimming, so don’t expect a classic white-sand Fiji beach resort experience. However, the location is absolutely perfect for sunsets. The evening atmosphere is beautiful, calm, and very relaxing.
The breakfast is not really at a 5-star level in terms of variety or quality, but it is still more than sufficient and you will definitely find enough options to start the day well.
One thing that really feels outdated though: charging extra for Wi-Fi in the rooms in 2026 is honestly absurd. Hilton, seriously — what decade are we living in? Free room Wi-Fi should be standard at this level nowadays.

The rooms are tastefully decorated and well-equipped, and the views are absolutely perfect. The restaurant quality is also good, and watching the sunset at the fish bar was a fantastic experience. The staff are all incredibly well-trained, enthusiastic, and professional—it's not just a few individuals, but every single employee is welcoming and ready to assist with anything you need. Marriott's hotel training really shines through here. If I had to nitpick, the hotel sofas are a bit dated and starting to yellow slightly, and while the bed sheets are clean, they also show a bit of age with a slight yellowish tint. On a positive note, the bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable; I rarely sleep this well in a hotel. This is definitely a highly recommended top-tier hotel in Fiji.

Guest UserWe chose Fiji for our honeymoon and stayed at Radisson Blu Resort. First of all, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Angel Osborne for making our stay truly unforgettable.
When we checked in on our first day, Angel kindly upgraded our room and surprised us with a complimentary bottle of champagne to celebrate our honeymoon. Not only that, but she always greeted us with a warm smile and frequently checked if there was anything else she could do to make our stay more comfortable. When we mentioned that our return flight was scheduled late in the day, she thoughtfully arranged a late check-out for us, which made a huge difference.
I would also like to thank Aesta for helping us book our tours. Thanks to her assistance, we were able to secure spots on a wonderful tour at the last minute and enjoy an amazing experience without missing the opportunity.
We had a great time swimming and enjoyed the variety of activities and programs offered by the resort. However, there were a few aspects of the room's cleanliness that could be improved. We noticed some hair left behind by previous guests in the bathroom, a few ants, a slight moldy smell in the room, and the refrigerator did not appear to have been thoroughly cleaned.
That said, the kindness and hospitality of the resort staff more than made up for these shortcomings. Angel's exceptional service, in particular, brought great joy to my wife and made our honeymoon even more special.
Thank you very much for such a memorable stay. We would love to visit again in the future.

Guest UserThis is not up to standard with a 5-star resort. Overall it’s a nice stay, but overpriced and don’t go expecting 5-star luxury. It unfortunately has not kept up with the maintenance it has needed over the years.
Negatives
- had aircon issues and slept without aircon, they moved us rooms to fix this
- had a leak above our shower in both tooms
- fridge was broken in both rooms
- lack of pool towels for number of guests, tried getting a pool towel on multiple occasions to be told they were out. When we eventually got some they were stained.
- lack of snorkle gear for guests, we unfortunately couldn’t snorkle because they were always out. We spoke to other guests who went and bought some because they couldn’t get any either
- aircon in rooms is very loud
- internet access drops out constantly
- we couldn’t watch tv as the internet was down for netflix on the tv and we were told we could only watch it on phones or ipads
- food menus in the room are dirty and falling apart
Positives
- most of the staff is really friendly
- adults only pool is calm and quiet
- good assortment of activities and things to do in the hotel
- staff is mostly helpful when you need things
We actually tried to refund the end of our stay so we could leave. I wouldn’t recommend it to people and just know if you do stay here it is more like a 3 to 4 star resort.

Anonymous UserThis seaside cottage was very comfortable. The bus stop right in front was very convenient. If you're relying on the bus, allow plenty of time. We couldn't get on an express bus as they were all full, and three passed us by. After a two-and-a-half-hour wait, we finally got on a local bus to Singatoka, and from there, we took an express bus to Nadi. It's a great spot; you can snorkel during high tide and enjoy exploring the tidal pools during low tide.

The entire hotel is built by the sea, and the sea view is beautiful. Unfortunately, the beach and the sea are black, so you can only swim in the hotel's pool. Additionally, the hotel is newly built, and many facilities are still under construction. The room was a bit dirty, and there were small black bugs on the sheets. However, the hotel itself is beautifully constructed, and the staff are very friendly and enthusiastic. The prices for items inside the hotel are not much different from outside prices.
Overall, my impression was pretty good, but they really need to improve the cleanliness and complete the hotel facilities.

Guest User1. Great location, right by the sea and close to Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal. They offer free shuttle service to the terminal for morning departures, so you don't have to wake up too early.
2. The hygiene and service are excellent. The rooms are spotless, sometimes even cleaned twice a day. Service response is very quick, much better than the other two hotels (Marriott and Crowne Plaza) we stayed at during this trip.
3. The pool slide is fun, and the gym is good.
4. You can catch crabs by the sea at night; we caught a lot, haha!
5. There's live music in the evenings, and we even caught a fire dance performance, which was fantastic.
On the downside, the food isn't as good as the other two places. The only decent option was the Vietnamese restaurant.
