Very close to the airport, so getting a taxi was super convenient. The hotel staff were really warm and attentive, with someone on duty 24/7. The room was clean and comfortable, the heating worked great, and the bathroom was bright and spacious. The bedding was soft and comfy too. Breakfast was decent enough; can't be too picky when you're traveling for work.

The front of house were great. The cleaning and housekeeping service needs work. They do not have a do not disturb sign, so we had house keeping knocking on our door at 9am after a big night out in Budapest. Then when the rude housekeeper arrived, he dint touch the bed. Just changed the towels and did the bare minimum. Won’t be back based off of this experience.

I recently stayed at this hotel and truly an outstanding experience from start to finish, The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful We stayed there during my husband birthday and when we returned to our room ,we found a beautifully chilled bottle of champagne waiting for us!!! along with a personalized birthday card from the General Manager. It was such a heartwarming gesture that made the celebration extra special. The hotel attention to detail and committed to guest satisfaction are truly impressive!!!! We will definitely be returning. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a comfort and memorable stay,

We stayed for five nights and welcomed the New Year there. Park Plaza Budapest has a perfect location with an amazing view of the Parliament, Chain Bridge, and the Danube River. It’s very accessible by tram and bus and close to major attractions and tourist spots, including the monastery, church, and Fisherman’s Bastion. The room was huge and very comfortable. The downside is that they should check the shower heads and toilet light bulbs before guests arrive — ours broke during use, though they were fixed and replaced quickly. Housekeeping mainly took out the trash but did not change the beddings, and there were stains on the carpet. We were expecting grand fireworks for New Year’s, but they were not as impressive as expected. Overall, it was a nice stay, and I was pleasantly surprised that they even included white rice at breakfast.

I have stayed at Danubius chain in Budapest before, Helia which is a spa hotel. This is more of a business location being beside the Puskas Arena and the M2 subway line and the 1 Tram line which gives multiple transit options if not using a hire vehicle or taxi. Breakfast was very decent, service attentive and professional. The room was clean with a few minor issues ie bathtub not draining quickly, furniture showing age (I understand so not an issue) and the facilities very good for my purpose - large gym with all required equipment, smaller pool but still permitted laps and a sauna all of which I used each day. As my last day had me leaving before breakfast, I was provided with a takeaway bag. All much appreciated. Front desk very helpful and kind. I enjoyed my stay very much.

Overall, a good stay. Pros: In-unit washer, clothes-drying rack, and cooking facilities. Spacious layout with a living area (table and sofa), bathroom, and bedroom all within one unit. Reception staff were responsive and friendly. Convenient location, close to bus and tram routes, supermarkets, restaurants, and cafes. Access to the Anantara lobby and gym — I really loved the grand lobby. Privilege of accessing the New York Cafe without waiting, just like Anantara guests, since the two hotels and the cafe belong to the same group. The cafe’s interior design and live music, in my opinion, were worth the inflated food prices haha. Cons: Housekeeping was not very detail-oriented. I noticed traces of dirt on the floor, mirror, bathroom, carpet, inside the wardrobe, and under the bed. To be fair, these are not areas I usually interact with closely, but they were noticeable. The cleaners I interacted with did not communicate well in English and appeared less enthusiastic. Cleaning was missed one day. My room faced an inner courtyard and was very quiet, but rooms facing the road may be noisy.

All round the Corinthia Budapest is a great hotel with good prices and excellent service from very friendly employees throughout the hotel. Excellent spar. Relaxed lounge areas. The bedroom on fifth floor was very nice clean and comfortable. The heating system is set at a high temperature which can become quite uncomfortable in the middle of the night. Loved the Christmas decorations and Christmas Sunday brunch with free flowing beverages.  Very tasty food in the restaurant. The only issues we would highlight is the problem with the hotel being so big that the breakfast restaurant gets very crowded with delayed self service causing the food to become cold by time you sit down. This is also due to many guests leaving the Bain Marie food service warmer lids open as they are rushing to get food. Also the coffee is machines are not good quality or require servicing as the coffee was warm or cold once milk or cream was added. This was the case everyday over 5 days we never got a hot coffee.  Hot food and drinks are very important and this was unfortunately the only let down during our stay.  Hence the reason for a lower review score.  Aside from this I would recommend the hotel.

The room was spacious and very clean! I was also able to check in early, which was a real stroke of luck after being so used to the 3 PM check-in times at European hotels. Being able to check in at 12 PM was fantastic. Plus, the minibar was free. The location is super convenient, just a 5-minute walk from the subway station, and you can get to various attractions within 15 minutes. The hotel is directly opposite the Parliament building, and you can even see it from the end of the hotel corridor. You can see it from the breakfast room too!

GGuest UserThe hotel is brand new with excellent facilities; it was definitely the most comfortable two nights we had during our entire trip to Europe. The location is perfect, right across from the opera house, and there's an M1 metro station right outside, making it super easy to connect to all kinds of public transportation. The reception staff were very friendly; we had a nice long chat during check-in. All in all, highly recommended.

EEmilylovesfoodEverything about the hotel was quite reasonable. Although the breakfast selection wasn't extensive, the ingredients were good quality and it tasted nice. However, the service could be improved. We arrived around 7 AM to check-in and drop off our luggage. When we returned to the hotel at 2 PM, the front desk told us we'd have to wait until 3 PM. So, I told them we'd be sitting on the sofa nearby and to let us know when our room was ready. Between 2:30 PM and 3 PM, they continued to check in other guests. After 3 PM, since no one had informed me, I assumed the room wasn't ready. It wasn't until around 3:20 PM, when I went to the front desk to ask, that I discovered the room had been ready for a while, but they simply hadn't told me. The waiting area sofa was less than two meters directly in front of the front desk, and they had been aware of our presence the entire time but never notified us.

GGuest UserThe hotel provides water dispensers with fresh drinking water available daily, which is very convenient and contributes positively to overall comfort. In addition, fresh juices are offered, providing a pleasant and refreshing option throughout the day. It is also worth highlighting that there is a selection of desserts available without added sugar, which is a thoughtful and health-conscious offering. Furthermore, the bus stop is very easily accessible on foot and offers quick and convenient connections to the city center, making it simple to explore the area without the need for a car.

Outstanding
GGuest UserThe hotel's location is excellent, right in the city center. The front desk staff were very polite, unhurriedly explaining everything and even upgraded our room. We got a room directly facing the church – drawing back the curtains revealed a perfect view of it. The bathroom had two sinks, and all the facilities were new. The only downside was the air conditioning; it would switch to heating every ten minutes or so, making a lot of noise, and I'm not sure why. Breakfast options were limited, and it was hard to find a table between 9-10 AM due to the crowd.

GGuest UserOur recent stay at the Pullman Budapest was largely positive, though with a couple of minor hiccups. Upon arrival, we were immediately impressed by the fantastic service and the hotel's unexpected kindness in upgrading our room. The room itself was quite stylish and comfortable, featuring a clean, minimalist aesthetic with a large, inviting bed and crisp white linens, as seen in the photo. The artistic wall mural behind the bed added a unique touch of warmth and color to the space. The bathroom, which appears to be integrated into the room's design, was modern and well-appointed with a sleek sink and ample towel storage. However, our initial experience was marred by a blocked sink in our upgraded room, which, while frustrating, was resolved within two days. Another somewhat unusual incident occurred late one night when we requested a refill for our water bottles; we were asked to bring the bottles down to the reception for refilling, which felt a bit unconventional for a hotel of this caliber. Despite these minor issues, the Pullman Budapest proved to be a decent hotel, offering good service and comfortable accommodations.
