"The hotel's shower water is almost cold and cannot be adjusted. I communicated with the front desk to check out one day early but they didn't agree. The hotel is located in the university and it takes a long time to walk to a supermarket. You have to call a black car to go anywhere. The breakfast is OK."

"Sorry for the long review, but I wanted to be as informative as possible and share the information I would have liked to know before booking. This was my 5th trip to Marrakesh and my first stay at Savoy Le Grand. I was quite nervous booking after reading some negative reviews, but overall I had a very pleasant experience. From the moment we stepped out of the taxi, we were warmly welcomed by Salah (concierge) and the Moroccan tea man in reception. From check-in to check-out (4 days later), all staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Everyone we encountered spoke Arabic, French, and English, which made communication very easy. The foyer is beautiful, and the grounds are extremely well cared for—even more beautiful than expected. That said, there is ongoing construction and upgrades, which are not mentioned on the website. This is currently their quiet season, and the main construction is above the reception building, which is being extended upwards. Noise started daily around 9:15am, drilling around 9:38am, and finished around 6:30pm. Estimated completion is 1 May 2026. If you request a room near the second smaller pool, the noise is much less noticeable. The noise is louder and echoes more around the main pool due to the square layout. The hotel has four pools: two outdoor and two indoor. One indoor pool is heated and includes jacuzzi jets. There is also an additional indoor jacuzzi at the spa, charged at MAD 250 per person for one hour. There are three à la carte restaurants on site: Moroccan, International, and Italian. Directly outside the hotel are a supermarket, Paul, Chilli’s, and Papa John’s. Please note that outside food is not allowed inside the hotel. There is an ATM in reception and direct access to Menara Mall, which closes at 10pm. Special thanks to Nabil at reception, who did an excellent job checking us in. He listened carefully to my needs and arranged early check-in to a ground-floor room close to the restaurants, spa, and gym, with a garden and pool view. Soundproofing from the pool area was good, although hallway noise does travel. The grounds are beautiful, but the ground-floor rooms occasionally had a sewage smell, which I’ve also experienced at other Moroccan hotels. We did experience a few issues with our first room (heating not working, leaking fridge, slow-draining sink). Without us needing to complain, Soukayna from guest relations came first thing the next morning and immediately arranged for us to move to a beautiful suite. This level of customer service, care, and attentiveness is exactly what you expect from a 5-star hotel. In the evening there’s live entertainment music in the bar and outside a light & water fountain display. The suite was stunning—very spacious, with a separate living area, two balconies, lots of storage, mini fridge, large sofa, king-size bed, two TVs, kettle, coffee machine, safe, bathrobes and slippers. The bathroom had two sinks (standard rooms have one), plenty of toiletries (no washcloths), a large shower with both handheld and waterfall options, and excellent water pressure. There wasn’t much space to hang items, and there is a bidet hose beside the toilet. Thank you to the head cleaning lady for the final touches and maintaining a high standard of cleanliness. I’d like to thank all the staff for providing us with a wonderful stay. I love the Moroccan people—they are humble, kind, and always willing to help. Despite the construction, I achieved my goal of relaxation and a short break. This is now my new favourite hotel in Marrakesh, and I will definitely return and recommend it to friends and family"

"Had a very pleasant stay at Taj Atlas Wellness. A big thank you to Marya for her invaluable help and availability throughout our stay. The service was impeccable and the meals were excellent. The setting is magnificent, with absolute tranquility and lots of greenery, ideal for relaxation. The drivers were also very polite and courteous. The only small area for improvement: the rooms could use a refresh and a bit more technical maintenance. We noticed some minor finishing imperfections, but these were entirely reasonable and did not detract from the quality of our stay. We recommend this establishment for a peaceful stay near Marrakech."

"This hotel really exceeded my expectations. The location is excellent, right in the new district. Breakfast was also pretty good. Within 500 meters, there are coffee shops, bakeries, and several other stores and restaurants, so you'll always find something to eat in the evening. However, the service was just so-so. You have to wait a long time to get anything. Our room was drafty at night, and we called five times to change rooms, but they forgot about us because of a shift change at the front desk... It took over an hour to finally get a room change. Other than that, everything else was great 👍"

"Amazing hotel, brilliant staff who can't do enough for you. Food amazing !!!!! So much choice ..Rooms faultless.. Reception staff are so helpful!! A taxi to Marrakech centre is MAD150. Be careful not to be ripped off. The hotel offer a bus service, twice a day its free otherwise you have to pay . The city centre is definitely a visit. It's great to stay and enjoy the hotel but go and enjoy Marrakech as well"

"I had a fantastic stay at this hotel near the Marrakesh main train station super convenient location. The service was excellent from start to finish. Breakfast was amazing with plenty of fresh options, and the dinner buffet offered an incredible variety of delicious dishes. The swimming pool was a great place to relax, and the staff were always friendly and attentive. Truly a great experience!"

"Travelled during ending Feb. Very cheap affordable hotel. Booked for 2nights -£95. Staff allowed us to extend check out time to late for free. About 15-20mins from city centre Has multiple outdoor pools for adults and children. Have children play area . Outdoor gym and indoor gym, tennis court and basketball court. Very decent hotel ."

"Much better than expected. I like the location being next to a hypermarket and public transport. The bed was decent and there was actually a fridge in the room. My room was very clean. The internet was good for one person. Speed was around 10up 5down. Not blazing fast but could video call and stream no problem. I only paid the honest and correct amount of city tax compared to other places in Morocco. Staff were friendly enough. I would actually come back - decent value for money"
