When you stay at Binna Burra Sky Lodges in Binna Burra, you'll be within a 10-minute walk of Gold Coast Great Walk. This lodge is within the vicinity of Lamington National Park. "This was my 2nd time staying at the Binna Burra Sky Lodges, after the bushfires hit the Binna Burra Lodge in 2019. It was fortunate that the Sky Lodges seemed relatively unscathed by the bushfires that ravaged the park. The Sky Lodges are beautifully furnished, with lots of beverages, utensils, laundry facilities and a spa bath. The only limiting aspect of service is that there were no bathroom slippers provided to shield our feet from the stone cold floor. Due to unforeseen work circumstances, a personal friend who was supposed to drive us up to the Sky Lodge, and accompany us on a bush walk had to cancel on us about a week before our booking. I called the property hotline and Lodge duty manager, Pip was really responsive to recommend a private transport operator to ferry us up from Nerang Train Station to Binna Burra and back. As we arrived at Binna Burra, I was surprised to find that the check-in for the Binna Burra Sky Lodges has moved to the Teahouse, which is about 200-300 metres down the road from where the Sky Lodges were located. Thankfully, we had an awesome duty manager, Justine who allayed our concerns- allowing us to deposit our bags as we embarked on a hike to Daves Creek Circuit. She also had to manage and deal with my unreasonable, demanding father who dropped out early in the hike and hounded her for our whereabouts when we were uncontactable due to poor signal reception. When we checked-in at reception, Justine provided exceptional customer service by driving us up to the Sky Lodges and porting our heavy bags into the room. She also approved of us checking-out by leaving our keys in room, instead of having to lug all our belongings down to reception."

Actually Myself and my colleague booked two family cabins for three nights. That is for work and we were the only guests. As per advertised on trip.com we paid for including buffet breakfast. Following day morning when we went for the restaurant we were told they have not been provided our names and we need to pay for breakfast.. So I had to bring my booking print out and show the restaurant staff breakfast was included. Even though they let us eat there they were not convinced and were suspicious I guess. So that day my colleague went to see the manager of the accommodation and he said to me she was not convinced about breakfast was included. My colleague said it was very unpleasant and embarrassing. She told him I need to come down too. But later when I went to see her she said everything is sorted out and problem was they didn't know anything about Trip.com and trip.com send the booking through ******* and wrongly mentioned each of our booking included three adults and the extra payment is for additional adults as they understood. So the third day morning we didn't have issue at the breakfast as our names passed on. But unfortunately last day morning restaurant staff asked us to pay for breakfast because our name was not on the list. Luckily the chef remembered us and he was very politely let us eat. Even though we paid for breakfast we were at mercy of good people. Whole experience was very inconvenient and embarrassing. I think main bungle was done by Trip.com. But management did not bother to completely sort it out. This was my first time with Trip.com and Aaok Moondarra Accommodation Village. My colleague said he did not have issues previously with Trip.com but all those occasions were without breakfast. Other than that accommodation was really good. It had got good Wi-Fi, YouTube and Netflix. My advise is if you book through Trip.com for an accommodation with breakfast make sure with the accommodation that it has been correctly passed on to them.

It’s a minimalistic hotel, but in saying that it is what you pay for. It is great location very close to the city Valley and WooloonGabba. Very affordable discreet and very flexible with checking times. Front desk is not always manned but upon a phone call they are there in a jiffy. My first day wasn’t the greatest but I’ve had much better days since then and it depends on the rooms that you get but most of them are very very cozy. They have air-conditioning a bathroom and an ample space for two or a family of three with small child . also has a fridge and hot water. there’s a front and a back entrance and ample street parking as well as small amount of parking at the back you can come and go as you please without being harassed by front desk staff. It is ideal if you’re a night owl . on average I would give them 3 1/2 out of five stars however my most recent chips are probably 4 out of 5.

There was 5 of us and for a boys weekend to wet and wild it was very ideal to house us and had enough space for us all. Bathroom was a great size and felt modern enough. We had the choice of bunk beds, a double bed, and some slept on the couch as the air conditioning was in the living room. A small wall fan in the bunk bed room was pointless but the double bed room had a ceiling fan. Fridge had an incredible freezer. Unsure about the rubbish as we overfilled the small bins. Nothing to complain about, handy to be nearby a lot of shops and food places. Front area had a table for hanging out and a rail for hanging wet clothing.
