"I went to Xiangshawan with my kids and compared a few hotels. The other three were all-inclusive, but since my kids are older, they'd have to pay extra, and they weren't really interested in the activities at Xiansha Island, so I chose this one instead.
We drove to the Hualian Tourist Resort reception center to check in. After getting our wristbands and handing over our luggage to the staff, we took Cable Car No. 3 to the island. I added the butler on WeChat and contacted them after getting off the cable car to arrange a shuttle. The jeep shuttle drove quite fast, which the kids loved. They said our luggage would take 2-3 hours to arrive, but it actually came about half an hour after we got to our room.
Because I left a note when booking asking for a quiet room, we were assigned to Zone 3, which is quite far away. It was a bit of a walk in and out. I noticed most guests around us had kids; some played late into the night, others woke up early to play, so I guess no matter where you stay, it won't be perfectly quiet. The room facilities were pretty good, and the space was quite large. The bathroom was very similar to those in Japanese hotels. There was a wooden drying rack, which many people moved outside their doors to air-dry their swimsuits overnight.
The service was excellent. The WeChat butler answered all my questions promptly. The only issue was the light and noise affecting sleep; it was as bright as midday at 6 AM. Luckily, I had brought my own eye mask and earplugs."

"First, let me talk about the owner. He's incredibly nice, a low-key and easygoing hidden millionaire. He's always either cleaning rooms or picking up guests. I booked the cheapest small room, and the owner proactively greeted me, helped with my luggage, and upgraded me to a quiet twin room—a bedroom with a balcony in a three-bedroom apartment. Disposable toothbrushes, toilet seat covers, mosquito coils, etc., were all provided. The other guests were indeed very quiet. The location is also excellent; the ancient city's commercial street is downstairs, making it convenient for dining and shopping. It's also close to the train station and airport, and within walking distance of the Hexi morning market. For the price, it's worth the conditions. Although the furnishings are simple and not as refined as some hostels, and it's not a traditional hostel dormitory room, wouldn't it be better to stay in a single room for the price of a dormitory room? If I had to point out a drawback, I'd suggest fixing the door frame properly. Also, there's no elevator on the third floor, and the building is a bit hard to find. The property management in the complex isn't very good."

"Specifically brought the kids here for Children's Day. The guesthouse environment is great, with a starry sky yurt and convenient parking. They even prepared snacks and drinks in the room. The surrounding area is beautiful and very close to the volcano attractions. The hotel also provided discount vouchers for hot spring tickets. Dining is convenient, and breakfast is excellent, with kids' meals available. On weekend evenings, they even arranged a bonfire and fireworks."

"Choosing Shan Yin Qi Zhu was absolutely the right decision for our family trip to Ulan Hada! The room was spacious and bright, plenty of room for my three-year-old to run and play. There's also an enclosed small courtyard where he immediately started playing freely, so we didn't have to constantly watch him. The owner even gave free fireworks to the kids, and my son played so much he didn't want to come back inside. The breakfast, with its buns and millet porridge, was light and perfect for my child's taste. The owner also gave us some homemade, additive-free milk candy, which my son clutched and ate the whole way. It’s only about a twenty-minute drive to the volcano, and the owner even recommended a less crowded, gentle slope route, which made climbing with a child totally manageable. Our whole family had a fantastic time, I highly recommend this place for families with kids!"

"Inner Mongolia Grassland Trip: I booked a yurt in advance, thinking it would be a great experience for the kids. Our family of three stayed on a spacious 3.8-meter kang bed, which wasn't crowded at all. The yurt had its own private bathroom with an electric water heater, so showering was very convenient. There was even a thoughtful reminder to space out showers to maintain water temperature. The kang bed had mattresses and quilts, and there was also air conditioning, so we weren't worried about being too hot or cold.
Unfortunately, it was an overcast day, so we couldn't see the stars in the 'starry sky' ceiling. In the evening, there was a bonfire party in the courtyard, and we could even set off fireworks. It didn't get dark until past 8 PM here, so the nightlife was quite lively. There were also little lambs in the backyard that you could feed with vegetables from the front desk.
The guesthouse had a restaurant and everything you needed for dining, drinking, and entertainment. It was also very close to the Huanghuagou scenic area, and honestly, the surrounding scenery outside the official attraction was even better."

I will definitely recommend this place to my friends because I feel I made the perfect choice! It's very unique, clean, and tidy, in a great location with easy parking, and delicious food! Guest UserKubuqi's trip was pleasantly surprised to meet the desert herdsman B&B, and the experience was full!
The overall design of the homestay is simple and high-end, the courtyard is open and tidy, and the lights are bright in the evening. The rooms are spacious, the decoration is full of texture, the bedding is comfortable, the hygiene is in place, and the living is safe.
The most popular thing is to bring your own outdoor area, you can barbecue yourself, and it is perfect for friends to gather. The boss was thoughtful and thoughtful, prepared fruit for us, and the breakfast in the morning was also very careful. The environment here is quiet and quiet, find a quiet place on the edge of the desert, relax, and choose here next time you come to Kubuqi!

Guest UserThe existence of Dream Love Inn is full of charm. The house and the scenery blend naturally. Any photo you take is a masterpiece. The attentive butler service is perfect. The food is complete and delicious. When the entire grassland hostel was out of power, the service was thoughtful and orderly, allowing tourists to continue to enjoy the leisure of the holiday. Although it was an accident, it made people feel that the accident happened beautifully. Bicycles, lambs, Ponyo, chess games, each seemingly ordinary setting meets the children's entertainment needs, allowing adults to enjoy the tranquility while children will not feel bored. The service sister was very patient and coaxed my little brother to play happily. There are too many pictures, and dinner is accompanied by a good night sweet soup. A super five-star experience, I will continue to choose Dalezhiye

Elisa.sI chose this yurt because I wanted to try something a little different, and I never expected such a warm welcome. From the moment I arrived, they made me feel at home, and it was clear that they genuinely wanted me to have a great stay.
Even though we didn't speak the same language, it was never a problem with the help of a few translation apps and plenty of smiles, we were able to communicate and share some wonderful moments. I was even invited to enjoy a homemade traditional meal with the family, a simple yet heartfelt experience that will remain one of my favorite travel memories.
The yurt itself is very comfortable and beautifully decorated. Spending the night in such a unique setting was an unforgettable experience. In the morning, I was treated to a delicious homemade breakfast, another thoughtful touch that made my stay even more enjoyable.
I even had the chance to try on a traditional outfit, take some photos, and enjoy a fun karaoke session during my stay.
If you're looking for a genuine local experience rather than a standard hotel stay, I highly recommend this place. It offers a rare opportunity to experience true hospitality, and it's a memory I'll cherish for a long time.
I couldn't be happier with my stay. If I have the chance to visit China again, I will definitely come back here without a second thought.

I am a young Englishman on a 20 day solo self-drive road trip across northern Heilongjian and Inner Mongolia. After my stay in Hulun Buir, I decided to drive down to Arxan for 2 nights exploring. I booked this stay based off of the other foreign guests' positive experience.
I arrived in the town late in the evening. The boss was waiting for me and was attentive and welcoming from the start.
The room is very spacious and comfortable, and the temperature was just right. Everything is provided and replaced when needed.
After hiking in the national park, I came back to the boss and his extended family making CNY preparations. Then I was invited to drink Chinese tea (Dian Hong) at their tea table. I was then welcomed to eat with the family, drink beer and eat until I was full. I was welcomed not just as a guest of theirs, but as a family friend.
In mid-winter, Aershan/Arxan is a quiet and cold place. I came as part of a long journey taking my rented 4x4 Tank 300 through the snow and ice on routes apart of the Hulun Buir Snow and Ice Festival. My journey was peaceful, solemn and isolated. The hospitality and warm welcome was exactly what I needed after my long drive alone and it is a memory I will take home to the UK with me.
I highly recommend this guesthouse, especially if you are travelling solo across this wilderness.
Thank you brother. I look forward to returning in the near future with my partner, and when my mandarin is better.

I traveled alone with my 3 year old daughter and we had a fantastic stay! The owner was very kind to upgrade us to the largest king size bed room which was very spacious for my kid to run around. Unfortunately she didn’t realize we booked 2 nights and made us move the second night but still gave us an upgraded room! She made up for it by helping me move and watch my child while I settled into the second room. She and the restaurant chef were so kind with allowing us to eat a late breakfast because my child was too tired and could not wake up in time before breakfast ended. The chef made us a delicious fried rice with some tomato/eggs and hot Mongolian milk te which was the best meal we’ve had in Inner Mongolia because we are tired of eating lamb. Everyone treated us so well and loved my outgoing daughter. We sang karaoke at night and my daughter sat on the swings and ran around in the courtyard playing. I loved that the light to the AC turns off when the room lights turn off but the AC is still working. It makes sleep so much better to not have a light shining on you. The rooms are very new and there’s lots of cabinet space. Parking is available. Bottled water, slippers, shampoos/body wash are all provided. We also got free tickets to the grassland which we unfortunately could not make it to but appreciated. Thank you to the owner and the staff for making our stay so comfortable! We will definitely come back and stay again!

It was a wise decision to stay in this loft B&B next to the East Railway Station when traveling to Hohhot this time! As a tourist from other places, you can arrive quickly after getting off the train. The transportation is super convenient. The host was as enthusiastic as family. He not only patiently answered our questions, but also shared travel tips and food recommendations for the surrounding area.
I was stunned the moment I walked into the room. The design of the Loft is very stylish, and the space layout is reasonable and full of artistic sense. The room is spotless, the facilities are new and complete, the bedding is soft and comfortable, and the toiletries are exquisite. Living here is particularly safe and comfortable, and it feels like being at home. I highly recommend it to friends who come to Hohhot. I will choose here again next time!
