"The hotel's location is incredibly convenient. There's a convenience store right next door and a large supermarket nearby. It's only about 100 meters from the subway station and around 300 meters from the beach. Eating out is super easy here; you can find almost anything you'd want. There are tons of attractions nearby too, like Dalian Natural History Museum, Xinghai Park, Sun Asia Ocean World, Xinghai Square, Forest Zoo, Silver Beach, Lotus Mountain, and many more. It's really easy to get to most of Dalian's attractions from here, and they're not far away at all.
On the ground floor of the guesthouse, there's also a big coffee shop where you can read and chat with friends. And there's a super, super, super cute little cat that's so friendly and clingy – you can pet it all you want, I almost wanted to take it home! My trip to Dalian was truly enjoyable, I felt at ease with the accommodation and happy with the food! If I ever get the chance to visit Dalian again, I'll definitely stay here."

"The hotel and the room are more beautiful than in the photo. Amazing interior, incredible terrace, helpful girls at the reception, cute dog. We were lucky with the weather, the view is beautiful. The only negative is that it was difficult for us to explain ourselves, Russian guests rarely visit the hotel 🙈 There is a kettle and mugs in the room, but no tea or sugar, and we were not allowed to order a kettle of tea for a fee in the room. There is no cutlery either, but you can get it at the reception/in the shared kitchen) I would like to live in this place longer!!! An incredibly colorful area and hotel. If we are in Dalian again, we will definitely stay. We recommend it!!!"

"The rooms were great and spacious, just like the photos online. I stayed for three nights, and each room was beautiful and well-designed. The amenities were complete, not cheap at all, and the facilities were all there, including a smart toilet, air conditioning, a projector, and a membership card. The mattresses and pillows were also very comfortable, showing that the owner put a lot of thought into it. During my stay, the cleaning service was always available if there were any problems, and the customer service even gave me a bath sponge. For this price, it's incredibly comfortable near Shenyang North Railway Station."

GGuest UserAs a German backpacker traveling through China on a budget, I’ve stayed in many hostels and budget hotels — and Fuyuan Inn in Dandong was honestly one of the best value stays I’ve had on my entire trip.
The location is absolutely perfect. Being directly next to the river was one of the best parts of staying here. You can easily walk along the riverside, enjoy the views, and it’s especially beautiful at night. It also makes exploring Dandong very convenient.
From the moment I arrived, I felt incredibly welcomed. The owners were unbelievably kind, warm, and helpful. Even as a foreign traveler, they made everything very easy for me. What completely surprised me was that the owner even gave me a free tour around the area, which was such a generous gesture and made my experience in Dandong much more memorable and personal.
Another thing I really appreciated was that they actually let me choose between a smoking room and a non-smoking room — a small detail, but it shows they care about guest comfort.
The room itself was extremely clean and far better equipped than I expected for this price range. It came with a TV, toothbrushes, soap, good shampoo, and everything else you might need for a comfortable stay. Everything felt very clean, organized, and well maintained.
And honestly, for the price, I cannot complain about a single thing. It’s amazing value for money.
The biggest highlight though was definitely the owners. They are some of the friendliest people I’ve met during my travels — genuinely caring, welcoming, and incredibly hospitable.
If you’re coming to Dandong and want an affordable place in a perfect riverside location with spotless rooms and amazing hosts, book Fuyuan Inn. I would 100% stay here again.

Literally built within the walls of the Shenyang palace, an easy 5 minute walk down the main street to the Shenyang Imperial Palace and Huaiyuanmen station just outside the palace walls. The room was immaculate with brand new furnishing as the hotel seems to be newly renovated with an Art Deco vibe. For the price you couldn't ask for any more.
An absolute joy to stay at, the front desk service was immensely helpful with advice and even offered to wash and dry my clothes upon request on the first night. Couldn't be happier and will return, thank you so much!

GGuest UserLet me start by saying this: it's my first business trip to Dalian, and this is the second hotel I've stayed at – both have been excellent! How can the service be so good? I'm in love with Dalian!
The location is superb, very close to Xinghai Square, and right by the seaside as soon as you step out.
During my stay, I added the butler's WeChat, so I could conveniently message them for anything I needed. When I arrived, the front desk staff helped me with my luggage to my room, and I even received a welcome afternoon tea.
There aren't many rooms on each floor, so it's very quiet, and the room itself is comfortable! The bed is neither too soft nor too hard, I slept so well. The curtains are automated with a button, the bathroom has a separate wet and dry area, and the bath towels are thick. I usually bring my own toiletries when I travel, but I actually used the shampoo here and it was fantastic – left my hair fragrant and smooth. Very satisfied!
