Homestays in Shanghai, China

We booked two rooms, both looked as advertised which was very nice! Rooms were mostly clean, only very minor details were overlooked. We had a kitchenette but there was no cooking or eating equipment at all. Smoking seems to be allowed inside but the room didn't smell. Reception didn't speak any English but are well versed with translators. Overall would stay again.

The room we had was fine, a bit dirty when we arrived but the staff was very efficient and kind. We could text at 2am and they will respond. Very responsive to our problems usually we had to ask them to clean the room every morning before going out. Aside from that, it was great and the location is good, very close to the bund and other places and there is also a metro station close by.

Cleaness not too good, but the Service from homestay owner is magnificent. Fast response and so kind service....the homestay itself it's quite good and comfortable.it's just on a third floor with stairs, so like me with big and more than one baggage is quite tasking to lift it up to third floor. Location about 300meters from Shanxi South metro station.

Very good location, it is located inside Liangyou Mansion, right across the subway station. Decent room with great facilities. Easy check-in and good and fast communication. The only downside is that after check-out, we have to leave our luggages in 12th floor (their public space). I assume China is safe but there is still a certain risk. Anyhow it’s a pleasant stay. I wish we could stay longer.

We were really happy with this extremely affordable hotel near Shanghai Disney. Fast and regular shuttles to and from the park are easy to use. Don't forget to join the wechat shuttle group so that you can see where they will be meeting guests. The hotel generously gave extra towels and water. The location though near to Disney is off a rural one way street. Keep in mind there are no convenience stores or restaurants nearby (unless you walk 40 mins to disney town)

We stayed in this hotel because it was close to disneyland and it had a swimming pool, but unfortunately when we arrived there the swimming pool ass very dirty and wasn't able to use it. The rooms were very nice and modern but not clean, we found a cigarette behind the bathroom door, a dirty tissue next to the bath and a dead insect behind the toilet. The hotel provides a free bus to disneyland and back which is great because it's very difficult to get a taxi and the lady at reception was very helpful and professional. The swimming must be cleaned for the guest to use or the guest must be notified in advance and the bedrooms must be cleaner

This is a fantastic hotel for a great price for Disney. There is not much around but a quick didi ride and you are at malls or Disneyland. The breakfast here was amazing and filling. A bathtub after Disney a great way to relax your tired legs. 1 night included transport to Disney. A kids playground kept my 2 happy on checkout date. We are from Australia and we loved the beds and space and the breakfast, so good. The pool had no water but no impact to us. We would stay here again. Thanks

Very good stay experience, the hotel parking is convenient, the front desk service is good, the room is relatively large, cost-effective, the room is clean and clean, the room is soundproofed, and it does not affect sleep.

Facilities: It is indeed old, but the price is relatively cheap, so it is acceptable. I am willing to consider staying here again. Hygiene: Not very good, the cleaning is not thorough, but it basically meets your needs. We stayed here for 3 nights and had a fantastic stay! The reception is staffed 24/7 and the staff there were very friendly and attentive. When we arrived, they helped us with our luggage and the check in process went smoothly even though we’re foreigners. We chose the loft after looking at the photos on trip.com and were really happy to see that the room was exactly like in the photos. The room was clean, comfortable and well heated during winter time. The staff added us on WeChat for us to ask any questions, request services and used this to communicate shuttle pick up times for Disneyland. This made for an easy shuttle service, and the shuttle itself was comfortable and took 10 minutes. Unfortunately we’re not breakfast people, but a buffet breakfast was included and dinner options were available for after Disneyland. Overall we really enjoyed our stay here and highly recommend it. Next time we come back for Disneyland we will definitely stay here again.
