"There were some issues upon arrival, which Hidi helped resolve in less than 24 hours. As compensation, they offered excursions and a half-board rate. The island itself is small and uncrowded. There are excellent large shops. Getting to the island is very long because the speedboat takes locals to other islands, so I don't understand why it's so expensive. The reef is very picturesque, which is why we chose this island. The food was delicious, and the portions were huge."

I also loved the rooftop space and the peaceful garden vibe around the pool. The island itself is small and quiet, with a couple of local shops for snacks and essentials, and a calm beach just a few minutes’ walk away. I swam with manta rays on a half-day trip organised by the hotel and watched baby turtles hatch right on the sand. It felt like a dream. But honestly? What makes this place special isn’t just the scenery—it’s the people. The Baa Sand team delivers something you don’t often find anymore: hospitality with heart. If you’re looking for a peaceful, authentic Maldivian escape with genuine care and comfort, this is the place. I’ll definitely be back—and next time, I’m bringing my friends"

"This place is really good, clean, nice design. The Sri Lankan chef makes fantastic food. We had a bit of a misunderstanding with dinner as we had already paid through trip but it was cleared quickly. We used them to organize a whole day of snorkeling sadly we only saw a turle, due not being the season for mantas nor whale sharks. They took us to an empty island with white sand and crystal blue sea, it was lovely. I think the lunch could have been better but it was a great day. We also went night fishing, we only caught one fish but another couple caught four! Again it was nice being out in the seat night, we then went back to the hotel and the chef grilled the fish we caught! We were very happy with our stay!"
