"The guesthouse is located in the old town. The roads are quite narrow, and some sections are currently under construction with engineering vehicles. Although there are alternative routes to reach the entrance, some drivers might not be familiar with them. If you return to the guesthouse too late, drivers might be reluctant to drive all the way in because the path is too dark and difficult to navigate, so you may need to walk a short distance yourself. The room is simple but very spacious. Please note that toiletries and an electric kettle are not provided (though you can boil water in the kitchen), and you will also need to prepare your own bottled water. Fortunately, there is a small convenience store right next door where you can buy these items. During my stay, it rained one day and there was a brief power outage, but electricity was restored very quickly. The host is wonderful and speaks fluent English. Upon check-in, he gave me a map and briefly explained the locations of key attractions and some restaurants. When I checked out, he even helped me with my luggage and called a taxi for me. If you have any questions, he will always answer them patiently. The guesthouse is about a 15-minute walk from Registan. There are more restaurants around the Bibi-Khanym Mosque area, where you can also find a tourist information center that helps mail postcards. If you don’t demand the facilities of a brand-name hotel, the overall experience is very good."

"The hostel is located in the Old Town, which is convenient as the bus stop is only a 3-minute walk away. However, it's situated in a small alley, and there's a stretch of road without streetlights when returning from the main square, which felt a bit unsafe at night. The owner was always helpful in solving various issues, for example, when I wanted to boil a couple of eggs in the morning. There's a water dispenser available in the common area, which is handy. The day before I checked in, guests reported no hot water, initially thinking it was due to late-night usage. The next day, it was still cold. When asked, the owner said a circuit breaker had tripped. Once fixed, the water was very hot, so it's important to report any problems promptly. It was advertised as a 4-bed dorm, but it was actually a 5-bed dorm, which was quite a surprise. The owner claimed it couldn't be changed on the platform, a reason I found hard to accept. Even if the main listing couldn't be altered, they could have added a note in the remarks section. Otherwise, it feels like deception, especially for a 'non-refundable' booking where no money is returned. This was the case for both the female and male dorms. With many guests staying, the cleanliness of the common areas struggled to keep up. Also, I didn't seem to find any lockable personal lockers. The owner, who uses a wheelchair, runs this hostel, which is commendable, and the price is good. However, the issues mentioned above do exist. Luckily, I only stayed for one night as a stopover."

"My mother and I stayed at this guesthouse for two nights in Samarkand, and it was the best decision! I'll start with the main point: a huge and endless thank you to the owner. We arrived late at night, at 3 AM, but our reservation was only for the following day. He came out to meet us, helped us find a room, spent his time with us, showed us options so we could feel at ease. This is incredible care and responsiveness, which you rarely encounter. The guesthouse itself is the epitome of comfort: very clean (nothing to complain about), cozy rooms, and the location is simply perfect – everything is nearby. For my mother and me, it was important to feel at home, and here we absolutely did, 100%. I'm glad there are such kind, open, and decent people. I wish this place prosperity, grateful guests, and all the best. You make this world a better place!"

"The hotel contacted us to ask about our needs and said we'd be arriving at night, but upon arrival they took a VERY long time to get the door open. The receptionist wasn't there, so a security guard checked us in. The bathroom was very small, the bed was large, completely out of proportion for such a small room, so there were no nightstands. The pillows were very hard and high, making it easier to sleep without them, but the bed linen itself was good. There was only a mirror in the bathroom. Whole-bean coffee for breakfast was extra. There were very few vegetables."

"I had a pleasant stay at Hotel Dilshoda in Samarkand. The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of main attractions, and the area feels safe even at night. The staff were friendly, professional, and very attentive throughout my stay. Would definitely recommend."

"I couldn't meet the owner unless I called at the entrance, but he will rushed to me immediately. Very nice person. The courtyard is nice. The bathroom is large. It takes time to get hot water, but I took a warm shower. The atmosphere was very good so I want to stay again. And the location is great. It is very convenient because you can go within walking distance such as Registan Square."

"Atmospheric guest house. The hosts are very kind and hospitality. I did not agree on the time of arrival, despite this inconvenience, we were settled earlier than the time. Good location of the guest house is the sights in step-to-step availability. Silent in the room, warm and good hot water pressure. Breakfasts are very delicious, diverse, saturated and close to our kitchen. In the warm season it should be very spiritually, sure of it (the inner green yard, where a gentle cat walks)."

"The service was excellent, and the hotel was in excellent condition. The staff was responsive. Unfortunately, the maid was sick on the last day, so they couldn't clean the room, but I'm not a pig, so it's not a big deal. The breakfast menu was excellent. Importantly, the coffee from the coffee machine was decent, which is a rarity in Uzbekistan."
