This was a unique trip, and I'm so glad I found 'Xiying' in Nanjing. I met interesting fellow travelers and enjoyed comfortable sleep here. Facilities: The huge open-air observation deck was exactly like the photos (I imagine it would be even more fun in summer 🤔). Cleanliness: Clean and tidy. Service: The front desk staff was a fun person (hahahaha). With a gentle spring breeze, goodbye Xiying, until we meet again.

Mahjong and pool tables. Huge common area. Lots of clean showers and toilets. The area was very good right beside a good metro station and dozens of food options under a 5 minute walk. Not a big fan of how many free roaming cats they had (for both ecological and allergy reasons) but it seems to be kind of the standard in some parts of china.

Pros: The location is excellent, with many attractions within walking distance and very close to the subway station. There's ample common space, well-equipped facilities, and a comfortable ambiance with good lighting. The bunk beds are thoughtfully designed, even featuring heated towel racks and reading lights. The bed design is great, and the mattress is very comfortable. The front desk service is also top-notch; they'll guide guests through the hostel's facilities and meticulously provide detailed travel tips. Cons: There's room for improvement in the cleanliness details of the common areas. There's a slight wooden smell from the bunk beds. One can always be greedy and want it all, you know, but these minor imperfections don't diminish my love for Zaiyu. I just feel that such a well-equipped place deserves even better care and maintenance from everyone.

Great for solo travelers. My bed was clean, you do your own sheets and return when at the end. There is a water dispenser in the common area. Bring your own slippers for showering. My room was very clean with no issues. The best part is the price and what's around the area. Food prices are expensive because it's a tourist area but if you walk away into alleyways. You'll find where all the locals eat for half the cost.

This is my second time staying at Backpacker and it truly feels like coming home – so warm and welcoming! The environment is still fantastic, and from the common area, you can see half of Suzhou's old city and the Gate of the Orient in the distance. This time, I'm even more familiar with the route. There's a KFC and Domino's Pizza right outside, making dining incredibly convenient. To get here, just take Metro Line 2 to Shilu Station, exit from Exit 12, and walk about 100 meters to Backpacker. It's super easy to find! Backpacker continues to provide a great environment, with clean blankets, bath towels, and even Nongfu Spring bottled water. The restrooms have disposable toilet seat covers, and the shower gel and shampoo are also excellent.

Oh my goodness, who wouldn't want to drop everything and stay at this hostel? Honestly, this hostel is better than some hotels and B&Bs. You take off your shoes when you enter, there's a small room for luggage storage, and even a large living room for dining and chatting. And get this, they have a microwave, water dispenser, and fridge – amazing! The entire place is carpeted, so it's super quiet. The mattress, the pillows, everything is incredibly comfortable. The beds don't creak when you turn over, and there are plenty of charging ports; I brought USB, Type-C, and regular plugs, and they all fit. There are even small tables and hooks on the beds for your things. There's a separate area for bathing, toilets, and laundry. The toilets and showers are super clean, and the sinks and vanity area have excellent lighting. Oh my god, I beg you, go stay at this hostel!! Hehehe, I forgot to take pictures, but other reviews have them, and the photos perfectly match reality. Thanks!

Check-in was super smooth, and the front desk staff were incredibly welcoming. The subway station is right downstairs, as is Hema (a supermarket). The lobby has arcade games and a projector, and the room itself was new and spotless.

Hotel near Zhenjiang Railway Station/Wanda Plaza,Zhenjiang 25.7% of visitors choose this area

Location: Very close to Zhenjiang Railway Station, just across the street, a 10-15 minute walk. Located in Changfa Plaza, next to Wanda Plaza. Convenient shopping; there's a large supermarket, ”Changshen Supermarket,” in the basement; Changfa Plaza has many restaurants, including Haidilao and Yong'an Fish Restaurant, and even plenty of street food stalls, catering to various price ranges. Environment & Facilities: The hostel is on the 4th floor of Building 5, easy to find with the map provided by the owner. The total area isn't large, but it's well-equipped. Upon entering, there's a common lounge area, small but complete with sofas, a dining table, a refrigerator, microwave, water dispenser, and a washing machine. Attention to detail is also evident, with a dedicated slipper sterilizer and ample clothes hangers. There are two shower rooms for women, even with shower gel and shampoo. There's only one squat toilet, but since there aren't many guests and everyone has different schedules, it's sufficient. All rooms have bunk beds, the difference being between four-person and eight-person rooms. There are approximately 3-4 rooms each for men and women. Each bed comes with a strip lamp, a small cabinet, a charging socket, disposable toothbrush/toothpaste, and earplugs. The only slight drawback is the lack of storage space for large luggage; you have to put it under the bed or simply toss it on the bed. The walkway outside allows you to get some sun, and there's a clothes rack where you can hang your clothes to dry. A bookshelf separates the entryway from the rest area. The bookshelf actually has many worthwhile books; putting down your phone and choosing a book is a pleasant experience. Most of the guests are young people with different schedules, so we didn't interact much. On the first night, I met a girl who bought fruit to share with everyone; the second night, I met a girl who couldn't get a train ticket to Suzhou and had to take a ferry from Yangzhou to Zhenjiang. I shared my Zhenjiang travel tips with them, hoping everyone had a pleasant trip. In summary: A very nice hostel where you can feel free and undisturbed, perfect for solo travelers.

The reason why I don't score all five points is because this is not a fake praise, but the most real feeling of a tourist. 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 As a person who travels frequently, the accommodation experience is extremely important. This hostel is the best hostel I have ever seen. Facilities: bedding is strong and clean, solid wood space warehouse type beds, sockets, floor tiles every detail can be seen to use high-quality and high-end materials, not cheap industrial garbage Washing machine kettle ceramic cups are all available Hygienic: clean and refreshing, I can see that the boss is very dedicated. I once suspected that the boss was doing charity. The people are so good. The environment like hhh really shouldn’t be disappointed. The sink floor tiles have no dirty things at all. Service: Check in in the middle of the night, the boss is very patient to tell me how to stay, very patient. You can give a small suggestion to the boss, start taking pictures from the entrance of the building to guide upstairs, do a pdf to stay, so that you don't have to be so tired. It is highly recommended for young people traveling around, especially special forces college students, who can save a little money to stay on the road. Both men and women can feel the feeling. The price is affordable. Come here and live, you will definitely not be disappointed!

The owners are incredibly welcoming, and they have a very friendly black dog you can play fetch with. The place was fully booked that day, but the owner still offered a complimentary upgrade to a private room. The overall environment is lovely, featuring a small garden where you can swing. The rooms are also very cozy, giving you the feeling of stepping back into a quaint small town from over a decade ago. However, the cleanliness of the bathrooms and washrooms left something to be desired, making it perhaps best suited for guests who aren't too particular about their hygiene facilities.

GGuest UserFirst, gratitude! A thousand words of gratitude! Honestly, I feel like the owner of this hotel is quite compassionate. I've been staying here for a week, and I've eaten all three meals a day at their vegetarian restaurant. It's free, and we didn't have to pay a penny. Several of us guests have also eaten there for free. I heard breakfast will be free after September 7th, but since this is a vegetarian restaurant, we can't waste it. We felt bad eating it all. We've been eating for free for several days, and our room was only 50 or 60 yuan, but the food we ate exceeded that. I'm grateful to Ru Vegetarian and to this youth hostel. It's so loving! I'll definitely stay at this loving youth hostel again next time I visit! Thank you Ru Vegetarian

EEnderSlideIt was a great experience. The hostel is very easy to find. The hostess at the front desk speaks English very well and was very nice and friendly. I have stayed in a 4 beds female room for one night. The room was great, it provided sleepers, sheets and even had air conditionning. The showers are okay. The good point was having products in the shower : shampoo, hair conditioner, body wash and even a cleanser for the face ! It was very calm the night that I have stayed. The common space is nice and cozy. I didn't but you can order drinks or brekfast there. It is close to the subway, just a few steps from the bus stop, there a plenty of restaurants in the street and a supermarket across the road. I highly recommend this hostel.

GGuest UserThis was my first time staying in an all-female hostel, and it was so lovely and pink! The front desk staff were incredibly warm and provided excellent service. After checking in, they helped me change into slippers and showed me to my room, and even made my bed for me – I didn't have to do it myself. They even offered free tremella soup during the holidays! I originally came here to look for a job, thinking I'd stay a few extra days to find something suitable. When I chatted with the owner about looking for work, she was very enthusiastic and even introduced me to a job. I interviewed the same day and got it – I'm so grateful! They also have light meals available at the hostel, which is a godsend for women trying to lose weight. You can pre-order them with the owner since they're all freshly made. I've become good friends with the hostel after just one stay! Wishing the establishment prosperous business and overflowing wealth!

GGuest UserHantu Hotel is located in Likou Street, where there are shopping malls and shopping is convenient. The guesthouse is very close to the subway station and the transportation nearby is very convenient. If you are traveling by car, it can also provide you with parking space. The owners of Hantu Hotel are very friendly, they will take the initiative to help passengers with their luggage and patiently help you check in. What I can't praise enough is how clean and tidy the rooms are. In addition, hot water is available in the shower 24 hours. The owner of the hotel prepared the toiletries thoughtfully. I had a very comfortable stay at Hantu Guesthouse. I would not hesitate to choose Hantu again if I need to stay in the area again.
