Hostels in Shaanxi, China

The room is big. The facilities are nice. I love that they provide washing machines and the soap as well. However, they can improve on this : 1. Toilet smelled heavily of urine when we arrived. It looked clean, but it smelled so bad that we can smell it from our bed. Even after room service we can still smell it. It came from behind the toilet. I don't know how. 2. The toilet door is made of clear glass, that others can look into the toilet when you do your business. It's awkward. The hotel location is good, however. It's inside the wall. And there's a convenient store nearby. They gave us a tea set to use through out the stay, which is nice.

This is a standardized hostel, with every detail meticulously thought out – a very mature commercial product. However, the quality of guests is hard to control. Even though it's off-season, the restrooms weren't very clean, and there was trash and an unpleasant smell (understandable for a commercial building with less ventilation) throughout the common areas. Plus, I noticed a girl smoking in the restroom (the innermost stall reeked of smoke). On the bright side, the blankets and shower rooms were quite warm, even better than a 3-star hotel I stayed in later. It also has a strong social atmosphere, making it suitable for young travelers on a budget.

This hotel is excellent! It's tucked away in a quiet spot but still close to everything. The cleanliness is top-notch, making for a very comfortable stay. There are tons of great food options nearby, and it's also conveniently located close to the Drum Tower and a subway station. Unfortunately, I had some inconsiderate neighbors who smoked in the bathroom, but there's not much the hotel can do about that. The front desk service was fantastic though; they were very responsive and helpful with any issues. I'd definitely stay here again.

The environment here is great, and the front desk staff are super welcoming and helpful. They provide disposable towels and toothbrushes, which is a nice touch. The common areas are decorated in a beautiful Chinese style, and you can even catch a glimpse of the Bell Tower's night view from the window. It's super convenient as the subway is right downstairs, and the Muslim Quarter is within walking distance. The Grand Tang Everbright City and Yongning Gate are also easily accessible by subway, and you can even walk to Yongning Gate, which is very convenient. The rooms also have their own personal lockers, perfect for storing your belongings. What I really loved is that shoes aren't worn into the rooms, which felt really good. Plus, there was no strange odor in the washroom area. Overall, a really good experience!

The location is incredibly convenient, just a 1-minute walk to the subway station. There are tons of local eateries nearby, which made coming back after a night out super easy. The room was exceptionally clean, with fresh linens that had no odor at all. I loved the thoughtful touches like the blackout curtain and small bedside lamp, ensuring no one was disturbed. The common areas were even better, with a comfy sofa and bookshelf in the living room – every detail felt welcoming. I honestly recommend this high-value hostel to all travelers!

Out of all the hostels I've stayed in, this one is legendary! The facilities are excellent and comprehensive, featuring a comfortable lounge and an entertainment area. The staff members were all incredibly warm, patient, and professional. Upon check-in, they gave me a thorough tour to help me get acquainted with the place, and offered fantastic recommendations for local attractions and eateries. During my stay, the staff were incredibly responsive to any questions or issues I had. After a few days, I noticed that the bed linen was changed regularly, and the bathrooms were always kept spotless. I also met many other travelers and we often played games together (the hostel even provided board games!). All in all, my stay here was fantastic!

I went here to hike the mountain. The staff was amazing and explained to me how I could best approach the walk in English! There was also a laundry machine available. The room was nice and clean. I could see the beautiful mountain from my room!

I love the design of my bed, it covers all the beds with curtains for full privacy! The hostel is clean and cool! The host is quite friendly and approachable! For the first timer, the hostel is easy to locate. In front of the entrance, there will be a mannequin of old men (refer to my picture). Take the elevator to level 5 (refer my picture) and you will see the reception. It's nearby to The Drum Tower Xian and Muslim Hui Street!

This hotel is very good location and clean, I really enjoy taking a rest at this hotel, really appreciate that it's very near to Tiyuchang metro station (Exit D). There are many restaurants and convenient stores nearby the building that is very convenient. The hotel staff and the hotel owner also give a warm welcome to me, thank you so much. Everything in the hotel is clean and convenient. I will come to use service from this hotel again next time. And this hotel is near to travel spots (small wild goose, Xian museum), it's very good location hotel.

The hostel has a lot of potential with a rooftop, great WiFi and comfortable beds, as well as lockers and a welcome package including some soap and slippers. However, the cleanness definitely needs improvement. Especially in the bathroom! (And under the bunks) I had a bunk bed in a room for 14 guys (not sure if there are more rooms for guys), so at least 14 guys have only 3 toilets and 2 showers. That’s not much but worst of all is if it’s not cleaned enough. With this amount of guests cleaning it multiple times a day is absolutely necessary. So overall, something that can and needs to be improved
