Right near the metro station, you find yourself behind with the bell tower both beaming day and night time. Although the hostel is located inbetween Chinese phone stores, it's still a nice location. Going places were convenient, bus stops are close by, metros are near, food and drinks are close with underground walkways that were confusing, but you get the hang of it. Exit 9 leads you to the food street if interested.
First time after being very interested in it appearing in many locations. Strict check in only appearing at 2pm and after. Many dorm rooms. 1 floor dedicated to female only, and can only be entered via key card. Upon arrival they give you a pair of slippers, but many don't wear them, but I do like the change of slippers in shoe cabinet.
Chose the 12-bed dorm, room was extremely spacious, didn't felt clustered. Everyone had a small locker enough to fit your small backpack as there were a shelf in it. Bed was comfy and firm. Pillow - I rate it 2/5 for me, it's low and too soft, not my ideal.
I love the bathroom a lot, there's 2 bathrooms according to the floor map. Each with many shower and toilets (all seated). Shower cubicle is big, hooks are at good height for 165cm, as in I've seen some that the hooks are like so tall up, curtains to separate the door to the water to keep your stuff dry.
There is a set of washing machine and dryer in the female bathroom. Amenities of shower cap, cotton ear buds and toner pads are offered when you need them. Blowdryers are strong.
Didn't go to the common level, where you have the bar, lounge, laundry, game, reading, movie rooms. For someone who was out everyday to night, I didn't get a chance to see. They have activities you can do.
Definitely an extroverted dreamworld, a place where you can meet with people. People were friendly, both speaking Chinese and English.
Conclusion: Definitely solo traveling in Xi'an again I would stay here, has everything you need, and super clean.

Had a really great experience here! Everything was excellent – the environment, cleanliness, service, and facilities. My only minor complaint is that it can get quite noisy at night if there are new guests checking in. But honestly, for this price, what more could you ask for? I'd definitely choose this place again if I have the chance.

I had an excellent stay in this hotel. First of all
the service was really great. When I arrived at
the hotel, they gave me a room that was already
occupied, but when I said about the problem
they immediately change the room and I got ar
upgrade without paying any extra cost.
As for the room, it was very clean and the
amenities were very useful. Also the toilets were
clean and there were both squat and sitting
ones.
The location was also quite convenient, as it was
next to the Da Tang Mal, so the night was very
lively. The only con is that the metro station was
little bit far (around ten minutes by foot), but
overall it was easy to find the hotel even for a
non-chinese-speaker like me
In conclusion, I would advise this hotel if you
come to XiAn, as my stay here was really great
Staying at this hostel at the foot of Mount Hua was perfect for my climbing trip. The owner is really great – warm, outgoing, and provides excellent service. It was my first time staying in a hostel, and I was impressed by how well-equipped and complete the facilities were. The owner even sat around with guests, chatting over tea and sharing travel stories, which helped everyone get to know each other quickly and feel right at home. The next morning, before my climb, the owner made me breakfast: a steaming bowl of freshly squeezed red date soy milk paired with a piping hot beef sandwich. My energy levels were instantly boosted for the hike! 😂

The bathroom and shower stall were tiny, barely enough room to turn around. Although it's called the Bell Tower store, it's not actually that close to the subway station; you have to walk several minutes after exiting the station. While the facilities are all there, they don't seem to be well-maintained and are sometimes unusable.

The experience was poor, despite the excellent location, complete facilities, and low price. The service was subpar, and I won't be returning.
Deposit: The deposit is 50 yuan. Regardless of check-out time, it's refunded around 2-3 PM the same day (assuming no deductions are needed). Not having the deposit settled or confirmed as okay in person is concerning. If a dispute arises after leaving, the customer is in a very passive position. I really disliked this.
Shoe Policy: You have to change shoes upon entry, and your own shoes must be left at the door, not taken to the room. When I asked what happens if shoes get lost, the staff didn't answer. For 200-300 yuan shoes, maybe it's fine, but what about 500, 700, or even 1000+ yuan shoes? Leaving them at the door, with no locked cabinet, not allowing them in the room, and without anyone taking responsibility if they get lost, is very unsettling.
Compensation Notices Everywhere: Notices stated a 200 yuan per square meter compensation fee if water from the shower spills onto the floor due to not closing the curtain. Also, the sink couldn't be pressed forcefully, or compensation would be required if it broke. The shower design is flawed, potentially causing water overflow, yet guests are charged for it. The sink is flimsy, and instead of fixing it, guests are expected to be extra careful or pay for damages. Staying here means being constantly on edge (don't stain the sheets, don't break anything, be afraid of water overflowing from the shower, don't press the sink, change shoes upon entry). It's nerve-wracking, impossible to relax, and the experience was very bad.
Risk of Electric Shock: Halfway through my shower, I saw a notice saying to pull the shower curtain to avoid the risk of electric shock! So, I was literally risking my life while showering! Even with the curtain pulled, there were gaps between the curtain and the wall, so water could still splash onto the switches. This is a problem a simple plastic cover could solve, yet it gambles with guests' lives. I wouldn't dare come back; I've never stayed in such a dangerous place. It might be 30 yuan a night, but it could cost you your life.
Lighting: The entire corridor was very dim, with many energy-saving lights. Instead of bright and welcoming, the pervasive dimness made me uncomfortable. I don't like a dim atmosphere. The owner is very frugal. I turned on a spotlight, and the owner turned it off, replacing it with a dimmer light. The reason, again, was about money. The experience was very poor.
Free Snacks/Massage Chairs/Toilet Paper: Despite the extreme energy saving, there were free snacks in the lobby. There was also a large TV for casual viewing, along with free coffee and tea. Toilet paper was provided in the restrooms. The bedding was clean, and slippers were disinfected after each guest. For me, the biggest highlight was the massage chair, which worked perfectly and was very relaxing after a day of sightseeing.
In my room, there weren't many tourists; mostly regular guests. Perhaps they were studying for postgraduate exams, unemployed, or on long leave. Everyone had their curtains drawn, so there wasn't much interaction. The room was facing the street and very noisy, and people tended to sleep late.
Those who can accept all of the above might consider staying here.

This was my first time booking Sifang Space, and it was indeed just as advertised online. The staff at check-in were very thorough in explaining all the details beforehand. The room thoughtfully provided water and earplugs, and for female guests, sanitary pads were available for pickup at the front desk. Both the rooms and common areas were very quiet, with everyone being self-disciplined and considerate. I felt completely relaxed and was able to truly clear my mind without any disturbances. It was an absolutely wonderful experience. If I return to Xi'an, I would definitely choose Sifang Space again. The environment was also excellent, exactly matching the pictures posted on the platform. I didn't get a chance to take many photos, but that certainly doesn't affect my genuine positive impression.

The hotel environment is absolutely fantastic – clean, tidy, and peaceful. The decor is warm and stylish, making for a truly comfortable stay. The service attitude is excellent; the staff are incredibly warm, attentive, and always willing to help, paying great attention to every detail. Room cleanliness is meticulous, spotless, and the bedding is very comfortable, ensuring a completely reassuring stay. Overall, it offers superb value for money, perfect for both travel and vacation. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in town. Highly recommended!
I traveled alone. As a student, I always stay in hostels when I travel, and I've stayed in many different places, but this one is the best I've ever stayed in. The owners are incredibly kind, an elderly couple. I stayed for three days. One time, I saw the grandfather still explaining hiking routes to guests at midnight. On the morning of my hike, he even gave me a pair of gloves. The hostel has three floors, and the third floor has a pool table, which I played a game on that night. Before I left, the grandmother even called me back to give me a bottle of water. It really made me feel the warmth of home, even while traveling alone. However, I do have a small suggestion: the beds in the hostel shake slightly. I suggest putting a shoe rack outside the door, otherwise, it can get smelly after everyone takes their shoes off in the room. Personally, these are minor issues. I just hope this hostel continues to improve.

MMr. ShukriI love the design of my bed, it covers all the beds with curtains for full privacy! The hostel is clean and cool! The host is quite friendly and approachable! For the first timer, the hostel is easy to locate. In front of the entrance, there will be a mannequin of old men (refer to my picture). Take the elevator to level 5 (refer my picture) and you will see the reception. It's nearby to The Drum Tower Xian and Muslim Hui Street!

GGuest UserI tried matching the number listed in the confirmation email to the number on the front door of my room, but it didn't unlock, so I ended up having to call Lao Bang.
I felt a bit uneasy and found it quite difficult for a beginner (I had a similar experience).
Although they spoke English, I wondered if it was really necessary to call.
I would have liked some mention of WeChat or something.
