"I had a great stay at Kabannas Hotel in Liverpool and would definitely recommend it. The location was phenomenal right in the centre, with everything within easy walking distance, which made exploring the city so convenient. The hotel had a great atmosphere, and the bar was a real highlight with a lively but relaxed vibe. The staff were all lovely and very helpful throughout my stay. The self check-in was also super easy and made arrival completely hassle-free. The rooms were clean and comfortable, which made it a great place to come back to after a day out. Overall, a fantastic, convenient stay in the heart of Liverpool."

"The six-bed female room is very large, with a bathroom and shower room, which is very convenient. However, there is little traffic on the roadside, which is acceptable. The locker in the room is quite large, remember to bring your own lock."

"Room was smaller than expected as it looked bigger online however this wasn’t an issue as we only needed a bed and bathroom for the night. The bathroom was very clean and spacious. There was no iron in the room but a laundry room was directed to us downstairs in the basement which was helpful. The only disadvantage I faced during my stay was disturbance from other occupants of my floor coming back after a night out. I could hear laughing, talking and doors slamming. If you’re a light sleeper then I would not recommend! Despite that, the service and customer service was fab and I couldn’t not fault it. Thank you for having us!"

"Great sized kitchen and common area with free tea and coffee. I booked a ten bed room with curtains on the beds but was put in a more basic eight bed without curtains. I was told they do not guarantee room type until you arrive. The beds were wobbly and creaky and the pillow was very thin. A little cold in the common areas."

"Jai was welcomed by James and Tim, two super people who, despite my English banking, managed to comfort me and be listening. Near Anfield Stadium I really recommend this spot for football amateurs. Thank you very much to the team for welcomed and helped me. I recommend!!!"

"Place was exactly as advertised. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Definitely worth staying if your trip is short. As for downsides, hostel has limited number of bathrooms and showers - this can cause issues if you have to leave quickly. The ventilation in rooms is basically non-existent, and rooms house up to 10 people, so I’ll leave the air quality to your imagination. Sound isolation is not great, so if somebody has a good time in the kitchen you’ll going to hear that. Bring earplugs if you are light sleeper. Cleanliness is subjective, I’m not that picky, but having crumbs in my bed was disconcerting. Some sinks have filters with hair in them. Haven’t seen anything that would be actually harmful like mold or hygiene products, so that is good. Location is good. Liverpool is not that big and you’ll get to city centre in under an hour even with most leisurely pace. Do visit the cathedral on your way there. I haven’t seen any shops in immediate vicinity though, but I didn’t need them, so maybe you find some if you look. Bus stop for airport is fairly close, so that is a plus as well. Overall, this is a hostel. You can sleep there, store your stuff and maybe have a chat with interesting people. Price is fair for experience."
