"This stay was absolutely fantastic, exceeding my expectations all around. The hotel's location is incredibly convenient for getting around and dining. The front desk staff were warm, patient, and very efficient with check-in. The room was clean and tidy, with soft and comfortable bedding that ensured a great night's sleep. The bathroom had excellent wet and dry separation, high-quality toiletries, and a consistent hot water supply. The room also had good lighting and soundproofing, making it very quiet at night. The common areas were well-maintained, with meticulous attention to cleanliness. It offers excellent value for money, and the service is thoughtful and attentive – everything made for a comfortable experience. I'll definitely choose this hotel again when I'm back in the area and highly recommend it to everyone."

"This was our second time staying at this hotel, and we came back when we returned to Kyoto. During our two stays, we stayed in a few different types of rooms, and overall we had a very good experience. The private rooms were pleasant, clean, and comfortable. The rooms are not huge, and you should not expect an amazing city view, but everything was practical, well maintained, and easy to use. The location is very convenient, especially if you want to stay in a central tourist area. There are also two useful supermarkets nearby, as well as a FamilyMart very close to the hotel, which makes things even easier. Another thing we really liked was the shared area and kitchen on the 4th floor. We cooked spaghetti there one evening, and it was a really nice place to sit, eat, and talk with other travelers. Overall, it is a clean, comfortable, and convenient hotel with a nice atmosphere. We were happy to come back for a second stay."

"I wasn't expecting much from this hostel, especially since it's in Kyoto and I figured the real thing wouldn't look like the photos, but it turned out to be great! It was super convenient with restaurants nearby (including a French place that's reservation-only, serving only 4 groups a day, and a convenience store). Plus, there's a 24-hour parking lot just diagonally across the street for 1500 yen. I stayed in a double room, and it was nicely decorated, with a very clean toilet and bathroom. Considering it's Kyoto, this hostel offered excellent value for money!"

"It's a 6-minute walk from Demachiyanagi Station, and there are convenience stores and supermarkets nearby, so it's a good location. There is a kitchen in the shared space on the second floor, which is very convenient for those who want to cook for themselves. There are also free drinks, manga, and books. The third floor is a dormitory space, and it is air-conditioned and clean, but in the case of mixed-gender accommodation, the upper bunk beds are not completely separated, so there is no privacy, which is a bit tough, especially for women. The lower bunk beds have curtains that can be closed, so I think they're fine... There are showers and toilets on both the second and third floors. It's good when it's not crowded, but if it's crowded, it may be a hassle to wait in line. There is a curfew, and you can't go out until 6:00 in the morning, so it may be a bit inconvenient for those who want to go out early in the morning."

"If you don't mind staying in a 6-bed dorm, this hostel is great! It's fantastic for its location, services, cleanliness, and especially because you meet so many new backpackers and other interesting people. Right next door, there's even a brewery/bar where you can grab a quick bite and a beer. Maybe the price isn't the absolute best compared to other hostels, but all in all, it's fair. I recommend it!"
