Hostels in Kyoto Prefecture, Japan

Excellent location. Very close to a konbini and all transport. Fast wifi. Free coffee. They provide towels and you can change your towel every day. On the 1st floor you can dry your hair with a Dyson hair dryer. There's also a hair dryer (a simple one) in the room. The shower has a shampoo, hair conditioner, shower gel and a garbage bin located very conveniently. There are also swabs, tissues and paper towels. There's a fridge and washing machines for 300 yen (coin activated) and a dryer for your clothes for 100 yen. I would definitely recommend this hostel for a friend

To be set early, there are very few hotels near Kyoto, clean, beds are good, convenient around, eating and drinking, there are public bathrooms, the whole hotel is several floors, the price is OK, but when there are many people, you can't book a room. It is recommended to book it at once.

We enjoyed the room and the house which is really easily accessible from Kyoto train station (10min by bus). I especially appreciated the suggestions of visits around the hotel, and the public bath recommanded, which I did try! I recommand also the park. A lot of public transport can lift you to the main spots of Kyoto. About the house, it may miss one shower at least, it was a little busy the evening. Otherwise everyting was great, i totally recommand !

This hostel's rooms are located on the first floor, making them ideal for those traveling with large luggage. My stay here was fine! 15min bus ride from Kyoto station was very handy. And it’s right around the corner from Kiyamizu-dera temple; a popular tourist spot, and a great place to hit if you haven’t already got it on your itinerary. The only real issue - which is colouring my review right now - is that I got pretty awful sleep here. Top bunks don’t have a ‘roof’ covering the bed, so light and noise is more disruptive than usual. Basic facilities, nice common areas on the first two floors for those feeling social, and has a laundry and dryer (which was great for me needing to do two weeks of travel laundry, LOL). In any case, would recommend! Just be aware of your sleep.

Location is far from kyoto station . 50 mins away with bus . It is nearer to kinkaku-ji ,15 mins away. If u only plan to go inari , this is not it . It has good japanese architecture style which u can see in the pictures . It is like a getaway for japanese families with children .

Arrived at 10 which still not the time for check in, but the staff understand my situation and very nicely let me check in earlier and bring me to my room, so i dont have to rush and check in on 3 pm. Really appreciate theres lots of restrooms, the only problem is the room is a bit muggy. Other than that, its really nice

I love this hostel. Very clean. The bedroom was very nice. I booked a room with bunk beds and a bathroom. It made me feel safe and have lots of privacy. They also have self-service breakfast. There is also a machine to buy drinks within the hostel. The only disadvantage is that it is quite far from the subway, but I can accept that.
