"The location is perfect. They ask for a credit/debit card when checking in. Kitchen is closed from 10pm to 7:30am. It’s also comfy to get there by bus from the airport and to get by bus/metro with connections to almost anywhere. They also are ok if you’ll aborder a package in the lobby.
Room is sweet and has a shower. Beds are with curtains. There’re shelves and sockets in each bed. Hostel provides towels and shampoo/body wash and conditioners. Lockers are small, so the suitcase won’t fit, but it’s okay for valuables. Breakfast consists of bagels, toast bread, granola bars, oranges, tea, instant oats and butter. There’s only fridge, no freezer. Target/trader’s Joe is where Santa Monica is. Hostel has a wending machine with snacks and there’s a small grocery in the next building.
The only thing is that I lived there for 3 days and rooms wasn’t cleaned (floor and bins). It caused full bins and dusty floor. All other hostels I stayed in, cleaned every day."

"The location is fantastic, with direct access to the D line. K-town also offers plenty of great food and shopping. It's a converted detached building, and the front yard is beautifully decorated. Inside, there's a lot of vintage decor, making it feel like it used to be an office, complete with a piano. I booked the room hoping for a tall arched window but it didn't have one. However, the overall facilities are clean, and the bed outlets and lighting are well-thought-out and convenient. The front desk staff are very welcoming."

It was great. Beds are solid, not shaking from every movement. Location is great, but take earplugs because it’s too loud outside. There are curtains on each bed. There’s no bathroom in the room, but on the floor. There was soap and shampoo. Hostel provides a towel.
Breakfast includes bread, oranges, tea/coffee, butter, jam, instant oats. Common rooms includes billiard. Kitchen is big and lets cook easily. But they should bring more chairs as it’s always not enough during the peak kitchen hours.
Unfortunately for me, it was the worst experience because of neighbors. There were acting load like in the midday while it was 1 am / 3am / 7 am. I’ve met a policy in on of the hostels that it must be quite after 11pm. Otherwise, the person must leave. I believe this hostel should also have this policy."

"Had a great stay in San Francisco!
1. The location is excellent, right in the Marina District, a traditional upscale neighborhood of San Francisco. The area feels safe, and I rarely saw homeless people or anything concerning. It's also very close to popular attractions like Fisherman's Wharf, the Golden Gate Bridge, and Lombard Street.
2. The hostel also provides breakfast, which is great value for money. I especially liked the juice at breakfast.
3. The rooms are quite tidy and clean, and there's a common area for socializing, which is perfect for meeting other travelers and chatting."

"I stayed at Stay Classy in San Diego over Survivor Series weekend, and honestly, I was blown away. From the moment I checked in, everything felt smooth, organized, and genuinely welcoming. The staff kept the place spotless, the vibe was laid-back but professional, and the whole building felt safe and comfortable — exactly what you want when you’re traveling for a big event like WWE.
The rooms were clean, the beds were surprisingly comfy, and the showers were way nicer than I expected for a hostel. Everything was easy to access, and they really do a great job keeping things quiet at night but fun during the day. The location couldn’t be better, either — close enough to walk everywhere I needed to go, including downtown and Petco Park for Survivor Series.
For the price, the comfort, and the overall experience, I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Stay Classy definitely lived up to its name, and I’ll absolutely be staying here again the next time I’m in San Diego."

Restaurants in the same area The disadvantage is that it is an area with a lot of homeless people. for cleanliness There are some that are clean and some that are not that clean because it is a residence where many people live. Overall, it was worth the price paid.

AAnonymous UserThe staff were pleasant and very friendly. The room was a no frills type room. While it had a really nice bathroom. And the bedroom had a mini fridge and a microwave. It didn't have a dresser. It did have a tv with cable.I ordered a room with a king size bed, and got a room with one queen size bed. And a headboard left on the wall where the second queen had once been. It gave the room a spacious feeling. Despite being the wrong size bed, I didn't complain. I'm not more than. 6' like some people that need a king size bed. Anf at the end of the day, it's just a place to sleep and get a shower. It was a comfortable sleep. And despite being on the corner wasn't as quiet as I had hoped. But it's a motel. Non-smoking rooms available. There is a pool. I didn't check it out though I was too tired my first day, and too busy the next. If you don't require much, this might be for you. The price is right and the location is prime.

GGuest UserVery expensive for a B&B. Nice spot in the Castro/ Mission district near Dolores Park. Well-maintained & reasonable management. Lots of stairs to go up into main house lobby — wrought iron gates with intercom to buzz to get entry into property. Try to get a room in the older main house to minimize stairs! No AC. They have limited parking spots behind the two B&B houses (access from Dorland St) for US$35./day plus tax which is a steep price. Make sure u book a parking spot in advance. Beautiful garden courtyard in the back. Sadly we never got to use it. Try to get a room that faces the other “house” or the backyard - quieter. We had a front room Deluxe King Room 36 which looked nothing like the sample room photos (only one Room 24 w courtyard view, sofa, coffee table). We got a smaller room approx 290sf vs what we paid for 32sq.m, 344sf, no closet just small armoire to hang a couple of things, no sofa, no coffee table, no balcony. They were kind enough to give us a refund for the price difference between the Deluxe King we booked & the Standard King we got. Had to ask for them to vacuum room. Found tissue under headboard/bed, dusty. Not the kind of room you would want to spend much time in —teeny tiny TV, faced front noisy street with electric bus passing by. No screens in windows so had to close windows at night to keep critters out. Bed was ok. Pillows were synthetic & lumpy. View was of electric lines & school across the street. Beware some electric outlets. One was burnt out. Breakfast was repetitive but nice to eat in a lovely breakfast room or outdoor deck. Hard-boiled eggs, muesli, fruit, muffins/ carbs, American coffee, juices. Fortunately SPRO café was next door if you need a great cappuccino or chai latté! I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Spyglass Inn in Pismo Beach, and it was a great experience. Nestled in a prime location, this inn offers easy access to the best of the area's natural beauty and recreational activities.
Proximity to the beach is unbeatable. Waking up to the serene views of the ocean and the calming sound of the waves was a daily highlight. The beach itself is clean and inviting, perfect for both sunbathing and very peaceful at dawn and sunset.The area boasts several scenic hiking trails. We took advantage of these and were rewarded with breathtaking views and the chance to reconnect with nature.
Food options around Spyglass Inn also added to the charm of our stay. We indulged in some local cuisine that was as delicious as it was diverse. From fresh seafood to hearty breakfasts, plus a great steak in Arroyo Grande, 5 min drive.
The inn itself provides a wonderful atmosphere to unwind. The room was comfortable and well-maintained, offering all the amenities needed for a relaxing retreat. The staff was friendly and helpful when needed, going out of their way to ensure we had a pleasant stay.
Overall, our weekend at the Spyglass Inn was a delightful escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a rejuvenating getaway in a picturesque setting. Whether you're an avid hiker, a beach lover, or just in need of some peaceful downtime, Spyglass Inn is an ideal choice.

OONLYONEI recently stayed at this wonderful hotel in San Diego and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcome with their genuine hospitality and attention to detail. Check-in was quick and effortless, and I immediately felt at ease.
The room was spacious, spotless, and thoughtfully designed, with comfortable bedding and a relaxing atmosphere. I especially loved the little touches—plenty of charging ports, great water pressure in the shower, and a balcony with a beautiful view of the city and ocean.
The location is perfect—close to San Diego’s best attractions, including the waterfront, Gaslamp Quarter, and Balboa Park. Whether I wanted to walk around, take a short drive, or simply relax by the pool, everything was easily accessible.
The hotel amenities exceeded expectations. The pool area was a highlight, perfect for enjoying the sunshine, while the fitness center was well-equipped and clean. The on-site restaurant offered delicious meals with fresh, local ingredients, and the breakfast buffet had something for everyone.
What really made my stay special, however, was the service. Every staff member I interacted with went above and beyond—whether it was offering recommendations, arranging transportation, or just greeting me with a smile.

GGuest UserSince we left late from the previous stop, it was already 10:30 pm when we arrived. The road was very dark. It was easy to find this location following the navigation. There was a very eye-catching sign, but it was best not to drive there at night. There were many hotels nearby, but this place was generally quiet and secluded, but it still made us feel safe. Later, the instructions given to us said that the latest check-in time was 11:00 pm. It felt that we could not check in any later. Friends who come here should pay attention to the time. Parking is very convenient, with many parking spaces, but there is no breakfast, and there are not many places to eat nearby. We left for a long time and found a small town to buy food. Although it is August now, it was too cold when we arrived. The phone showed that it was only 12 degrees at night. Fortunately, there was heating. It was the first time to turn on the heating in August.
