When I booked the hotel, I was induced by a private bathroom. I thought there was a room. After chackin, I couldn't find the room. The staff led us to the past. It turned out to be a youth hostel. They were all bunk beds. There were 24 bunk beds in a large room. The bed is large and it is spacious for two people. Luggage should be put in a special cabinet and a password can be set. There are many rooms in the bathroom and bathroom, all very clean, there is a public space, there is a sofa and a table. We stayed at such a hostel for the first time. On the first night, the people sitting in the living room chatted very loudly, which affected the rest a little. In a small town like Jackson, more than eight or nine hundred live in such a place. Parking is not convenient, there is a public parking lot opposite, there is a time limit for parking during the day, and parking spaces are tight at night.

Outstanding
EErica HelmickOur expectations were blown out of the water by The Carter Inn. Hospitality could not have been more extraordinary. Greeted with welcoming smiles and warm cookies, everything was readied for our stay. Rooms were super clean and not in the coldly sterile way, but tidy and spotless. Room had a microwave and a small fride... with complimentary chocolates! Towels were fluffy and thick; robes and slippers were hanging ready to use. Herbal soap was handmade by a local entrepreneur. Sheets were buttery soft, and the mattresses were an ideal firmness. We slept soundly, the minute our heads hit the pillow. Breakfast was a full spread, with something for everyone's taste... with a loaf of homemade bread. Yard was set up with a picnic table, badminton set, and other outdoor games. Price was VERY reasonable. Hosts were especially thoughtful, gracious, and charming. What a gem of a place. Only wish we could have stayed longer.
JJeaneI've been to Jackson many, many times and have driven past this property more times than I can count. I always thought it was a tiny little place, with no real ”curb appeal,” but heading back to Jackson in the off season, for one night, I thought I'd check it out. I was very pleasantly surprised! First, they allow dogs- bonus! Secondly, its actually quite a large property with lots of amenities, AND a super cute cafe for breakfast (not included) where I was able to get a cup of overnight oats, and a chai latte for the road. The bed was very comfortable, check in was friendly and quick (much appreciated after a 500+ mile drive) and its perfectly located close to the square which is a 5 minute walk. I'll be back!
GGuest UserWe got to the hotel a little early n let us check in. The hotel was an ideal place to stay. The hotel was clean n the rooms were nice. The carpeting needed updating in the rooms which would make it brighter n hallway should have the carpet removed w plank flooring. Everyday around 5 they have free popcorn n tea n cookies. They had a bad rain storm n they let some of the bikers get out of the elements under the canopy. . This was very thoughtful! Yes I would stay again. Breakfast was great.
GGuest UserStarting with the good, the location is ideal and within walking distance of the main attractions in Jackson. The check in was fast & friendly, they have a good selection of drinks available at all times in the lobby & complimentary cookies at check in which were delicious. However, despite the lobby looking very nice and welcoming, the rooms are dingy and very dated, with carpets that needs to be replaced and peeling paint. That said, it was fine for a night’s stay where we didn’t spend much time at the hotel, but the expensive price is not reflective of the fact this is a 3 star hotel and is in desperate need of updating.
KKanokkanComfortable Stay at a Reasonable Price
I stayed at Motel 8 Rock Springs and found it to be a good option for a short stopover. The room was clean and had basic amenities like a microwave, mini-fridge, and TV. The bed was comfortable, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The location was convenient, close to restaurants and gas stations.
While it’s a budget motel, it met my expectations for the price. If you’re looking for a simple, no-frills place to stay, this is a solid choice.
GGuest UserPros: we sat on a bench by the river in the evening which was beautiful. They have made an effort to have unique and nice furniture and room set up with live edge varnished wood sitting table and counter.
Cons: the sheets on one of our beds had lots of dog hair and debris, like they hadn’t been changed. The beds were cheesy bouncy beds, with cheep sheets and coverlets , there was orange mold on the cheep shower curtain.
GGeorge EdwardWas very happy spending a couple of nights here. Nothing is fancy or luxurious, but it's very well kitted out. Appreciated the laundry facilities, free popcorn and good WiFi. The staff were very nice and helpful too which made a big difference. Won't go wrong if you just need a place to lay down whilst in Casper.
GGuest UserThe hotel staff was so enthusiastic. We booked a room without breakfast. After checking in, we asked if there was any breakfast. We learned that it was some free snacks, biscuits and other ready-made products, coffee, milk and fruit. They brought them out to us that night and let us choose. They also gave us apples, etc. The room was also very nice.
王王The hotel is indeed in a renovated, chaotic, but the room may be just the reason for the installation, or more tuned, the duplex room is not bad, there is no elevator, our room needs physical strength on the 4th floor. The baggage hotel helped lift it up and gave a tip. I really couldn’t move it. This time I live here is cheap.
