It is what you can expect from a Dormy Inn : lots of freebies, a comfortable room and a bathhouse area with the bonus point of having a good Mount Fuji view especially if you get the rooms facing the right side. The hotel's clearly geared for people who drive, there is two main carpark areas but it can get filled up quite quickly during peak holiday periods. The breakfast was sumptuous and excellent as expected from a Dormy Inn. There is a nice late night soba service and popsicles in the evening. Location wise, it is only a short drive away from the Gotemba Premium Outlets and some local sights. It is located next to Chichibunomiya Memorial Park with a former villa. The hotel is also pretty new.

This was my second stay at Yokikan, and it was just as good as the first. Even though it was a busy time, everything was smooth. The main outdoor bath is great — really nice view, and it wasn’t crowded at all. The building isn’t new, but it’s very comfortable and well taken care of. It has that special feel, which I like. Dinner was solid as well — good variety of fresh fish, everything looked and tasted great. Most of the staff don’t speak much English, but it wasn’t a problem. I was able to communicate just fine, and they were all friendly and helpful. One of those spots I’d definitely come back again.

Most definitely a 5* stay. Very clean hotel with amazing facilities. Of course you are booking due to being a car fanatic - you will not be disappointed. Every part of the hotel is designed around vehicles and is very well thought out. They have a shinjuku expressway bus that comes right outside the hotel to shinjuku which is very handy if you have travelled via public transport. Views from the hotel are amazing. Gym is open 24 hours which is was great. Everything felt new. Interior design was very classy and modern.

The room was spacious & clean. The staff was attentive and welcome us at the entrance when we drove in. The hotel is near to the Gotemba premium outlets.

The Hotel has a very interesting design, it looks kind of old fashioned but in a grand, fun way. We stayed in a Japanese style room, was fine. The 3 separate onsen baths were amazing. Great views, Sauna was good too. Food was a buffet, but it was freshly made and high quality. We were very happy with the hotel and would definitely recommend it

The room was very satisfactory, the hotel service was also very good, the open-air bathroom we rented at night was so cool, the experience was great, it was very close to the station, very convenient, I would like to stay a few more nights next time~ If I have to say something is not good, it is that there is no hot water in the washbasin in the room, it was quite cold on the day of check-in, but it does not affect my praise for the hotel~ I had a really happy trip to Izu, the seafood rice bowl next to the hotel was also delicious, the ramen was also delicious, next time I want to eat the barbecue next to it

Hotel is right on the beach. Just have to walk down some steps to the beach. The back door closes at 10 pm which I did not like cause my wife and I were enjoying our time on the back patio drinking some wine but had to go back in hotel cause they lock the only door that let's you go down to the beach and the patio area. Didn't get breakfast or dinner because it didn't look to be worth the amount of money they were charging. Luckily we had our car and was able to drive and explore other food options in town. Customer service was excellent. The front counter Mr. Nguyen provided outstanding service. He even walked us and helped us carry our cooler down to the beach.

The location is OK, but it's a bit hard to find food at night. It's pitch black around here after dark. The hotel breakfast is OK, and the grilled fish is delicious.

We stayed at the hotel for 5 days and had a wonderful family holiday. It takes around 5-8 minutes to get to the hotel by taxi from Gotemba station. The hotel also offers reliable shuttle bus service. It’s nicely located and designed for guests to enjoy the spectacular view of Mt Fuji wherever you go in the hotel, whether you’re having breakfast, bathing in the onsen, drinking coffee in the lounge or staying in your room. Staff were also very helpful and enthusiastic.

The hotel was great, wonderful service, good food, nice staff overall, however, Fuua spa was a bit disappoint with no extra towels to use. I would suggest to bring a bottle of drinking water or you would have to purchase. We stayed in the mountain side because it was cheaper but the ocean view would be great. You can see ropeway going up and down on the mountain side. Bus runs for free between the station and the hotel every 20 minutes or so. No reservation needed. It’s right in front of McDonalds at the station. Bus is not large. I would suggest to get there a bit early if you want to sit with your company together. You have a half off ropeway discount in the card you get at the check in counter so don’t throw it away after check out the hotel :)

The room was great, big, neat and tidy; and the view was nice! Breakfast was slightly disappointing as they didn’t refill some of the food (probably the more costy ones).

Although some people may feel that it’s a hassle to do online check-in without a ‘proper’ hotel front desk assistance, we didn’t have any issues. We could submit our personal details via our mobile phones anywhere anytime prior arriving. Then upon arriving, using the PIN sent to our emails, we could smoothly enter the entrance. At the lobby, there were tablets, for each guests to take their picture for verification to the information we had submitted beforehand. Then we were connected to a call centre which asked us some simple questions then it was done. We loved that there were free flow of hot & cold drinks, alcohol and non-alcohol, free flow chocolates/sweets/japanese nuts available. We were a group of 7, so we used the common space for our meals. The rooms were huge for Japan standards with a small sink, dining table attached. Each booking came with a car park lot. The car park is just a 2-3 minutes drive away and we just parked accordingly to our room number. I cannot be more pleased with my stay here and will definitely recommend friends to stay here.

The bathroom is surprisingly clean. The location is good and not far from JR, but there is a slope. There is only one bathroom. The boys' bathing time is too short. They will not have enough time to take a bath after returning from the fireworks festival. Basic toiletries, disinfectants, etc. are all provided. Anyway, there are many charged items, so it’s best to bring your own. Breakfast is a bowl of Ochazuke rice with an egg. The self-service option includes dishwashing. If you don’t have any requirements for breakfast, you can consider it.

However, regarding the rental mahjong, it is a reservation system for one-day rental (we were unable to make a reservation, so we were unable to make one), and when we looked inside the mahjong room, it was often unused, so if you could rent it by the hour, such as for three hours, more customers would be able to use it. Services are very good. Great location very near Atami Station with great sea wide. Unluckily while we were staying there was a new hotel construction nearby which made the view look less beautiful. It has a shared toilet and a Japanese-style room, and you have to make your own bed. It has the flavor of local travel in Japan! It is recommended to take a taxi, but it is not far from the beach and shopping street, but the entire Atami is on a slope.
