The room on arrival was amazing the bed and quality of bedding was a very good standard the AC was very good. The pool outside was just big enough and private enough not to feel enclosed. Staff very welcoming and breakfast was good. Only down side was when coming in from pool the floor tiles get very slippy my husband fell could do with a rug mat in this area. Stayed 1 night and enjoyed the time spent here could have done with a kettle or coffee machine in room.

It was an excellent experience! Relaxing place with a wonderful view! We had the room on the ground floor with the private pool and the idea to enter the pool from the room was fantastic! The food was delicious, for breakfast we had omelette, American, freshhh orange juice and of course cappuccino! Peace and relax definitely characterise this luxurious place!

This is a cute, small boutique hotel, set in a gorgeous resort, however, the bad outweighs the good for us because: (1) we booked a room at no small expense with what was supposed to be a "private pool". - it is not private at all, it just has some wicker partial partitions across the shared pool. There is no privacy whatsoever. Had we have known, we would not have booked because quite and privacy was exactly what we were looking for, exactly what we had been promised, and was non-existent. There are many other nicer places to stay at a fraction of the cost when the big deal is "private pool". The pool is also freezing. Whilst the room is funky and beutifully decorated, we paid an extra circa £100 per night to have the pool, and it's pointless/useless. Privacy is minimal and the neighbouring rooms on all sides are fully audible to all other rooms. Not really a "honeymoon" feel. Then the other cut corners just feel like a deep disappointment for a premium priced property. There is (2) no safe (3) no tea or coffee making facilities (4) breakfast is a limited menu and having to choose between either egg or yoghurt is a bit Clacton 1950's. (5) view partially obscured by car park infront. (6) not much space for clothes and no desk/dressing table for digital nomads. (7) the prices of coffee (cos you only get one cup of coffee for breakfast) is 4 - 7 Euro depending on the coffee - that's about 400% increase on the price of a coffee in Greece. On the upside, staff are charming and Afytos is a very nice place. The poolside playlist is also cool vibe and a nice touch. Really quite dissapointed as this was held out as a luxury stay.

I stayed in king's e queen's in July 2022. I really liked the room because it isn't small and the view of the sea and of the swimming-pool was fantastic. The receptionist was very nice and sociable. The beds were confortable, but we didn't have a lot of space to put the clothes in the wardrob. I liked the bathroom because it didn't have a door just some type of rope and it was very original. The overflowing swimming-pool was very beautiful but it made a lot of noise and it wasn't exposed to the sun all the day long. The breakfast was amazing but we don't have a lot of choice. every morning the staff come to give it.

Kleines feines Boutique-Hotel. Es gibt insgesamt 10 Zimmer - ganz unten sind 6 normale Zimmer mit "eigenem" Pool bzw dem Zugang zu einem Pool, welcher durch dünne Wände vom Nachbarn abgetrennt ist. Darüber kommen 2 Suiten - mit eigener großzügiger Terrasse und einem eigenem kleinen Pool. Wir hatten solch ein Zimmer - Nr 108. Von der Sonnenausrichtung ist diese Suite perfekt...bis zum Mittag hat man hier auf der Terrasse Sonne gehabt. Zu jedem Zimmer gibt es einen eigenen Parkplatz. Beim Checkin bekamen wir einen Obstteller und 2 Gläser Sekt. Für das Frühstück konnte man sich einen Tag vorher was aus der Karte aussuchen...jeweils ein Gericht, ein heißes Getränk, sowie ein Saft waren inkludiert. Außerdem konnte man sich aussuchen, ob man im Zimmer essen möchte (ohne Aufpreis) oder unten im kleinen Essensbereich. Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit dem Frühstück. Es wurde pünktlich und warm gebracht und hat super lecker geschmeckt. Mir hats besonders die Greek Panettone angetan! Das Zimmer war sauber und ordentlich. Es gab eine Fliegengittertür zur Terrasse hin, sodass man nachts auch mit offenem Fenster und mit ausgestellter Klima schlafen konnte ohne die Mücken im Zimmer zu haben. Eine ziemlich gute Idee! Nach Afytos sind es 10 Minuten zu Fuß. Uns hat unser Aufenthalt hier sehr gut gefallen. Wir fühlten uns wohl und gut aufgehoben.

Bei der Einrichtung der Juniorsuiten hat der Planer mal wieder den Design Grundsatz: „Form follows Function“ gründlich missachtet. Sei es der viel zu schmale Durchgang zwischen Wand und Fußende des Bett (60cm) und in dieser Schmalstelle auch noch der TV an der Wand !! Kein Schrank nur ein offenes Regal mit nur „einer“ Schublade, keine Abstellflächen für Koffer. Dazu gibt es im Bad nicht „einen einzigen Haken“, wenige Abstellflächen und keine Ablage in der Dusche für Shampoo ect. Desweiteren gibt es keinen Zimmersafe !

Weil unser Hund zu Hause erkrankte, haben wir uns schweren Herzens entschlossen, unseren Urlaub drei Tage früher als geplant abzubrechen und dies dem Hotelleiter Herrn Theodorakopoulos sofort nach Entscheidung mitgeteilt. Er fragte uns, ob er das Hotelzimmer zur Buchung für andere Interessenten frei geben kann („Can I open the room“). Dies bejahten wir. Dann tätigte er von sich aus eine Aussage, die uns sehr erfreute und uns das Gefühl gab, er sei gentlemanlike - entgegenkommend. Herr Theodorakopoulos bot uns von sich aus eine Rückerstattung an und fragte nach einer Bankverbindung zur Rücküberweisung. Kurz danach konnten wir auf der Homepage von Kings -& Queens auch ersehen, dass er für zwei Tage, die wir nun früher abreisen mussten, Gästeersatz gefunden hat (unser Zimmer war nicht mehr buchbar). Das hat uns entlastet, weil wir ja keinesfalls wollten, dass er durch uns ein Minusgeschäft erleidet. Eine Woche später haben wir per E-Mail noch einmal nachgefragt, wann auf seinem Konto die Abbuchung stattgefunden hat. - keine Rückmeldung mehr. Mittlerweile sind 4 Wochen vergangen - keine Rückerstattung erhalten. Lässt für uns nur einen Rückschluss zu, das waren schöne leere Worte seitens des Hotelleiters. Und dann auch noch die Frage nach unserer Bankverbindung hinterlässt in diesem Zusammenhang einen schlechten Beigeschmack. Diese Erfahrung hat den Urlaub in diesem Hotel, nachhaltig zerstört.

Einmalig schön. Mit perfekter Aussicht und 5 Minuten zum wunderschönen Dorf Afitos. Eigenen Pool und super Hausangestellte. Ablageflächen gibt es nicht viele, aber da muss man sich selber helfen. Essen kann man in Afitos sehr gut und Ausflüge in die Umgebung sind auch sehr schön.
