Polite staff, restaurant food was good and view is great. Location is an easy walk to Taj Mahal entrance.
Room was cold, mosquitos everywhere, there is NO SHOWER just a hose and a bucket, with only cold water. Towel was full of holes like a dish rag and at night you can hear every single noise from the rest of the hotel and the streets outside.
It is cheap to stay here but I would recommend paying extra to go somewhere nicer.

The location is great with stunning views of the Taj Mahal. The restaurant is good. The staff are very welcoming and can help organize the stay.
The cleanliness of the rooms needs to be reviewed: our bathroom had not been cleaned before our arrival (hair on the floor, urine on the toilets, nor the floor of the room. Perhaps an oversight???

Pls refund back my money due to hotel unable to take reservation as the hotel is under RENOVATION. How come mytrip not aware about the renovation work while charging the cistomer?

This hotel is not good for couples.
Suffocating rooms, congested and dirty toilets.
If you visit the hotel they will only highlight the terrace view of Taj Mahal.
I will never refer this hotel to any other person.

If you want to find The best Hotel near Taj Mahal. I have to proud and tell the traveller about the hotel name are “Saniya Palace” its nice place for all traveller. Nearly by Taj mahal 5 min and Their has the Good view point so see Taj Mahal especially early morning “Nice View” thanks

Close to the Taj, and roof-top restaurant overlooks the Taj thought it's not as close as that header picture depicts. Location therefore, is excellent. Staff are friendly and helpful. The main caveat for this ghotel is the room size. Some rooms are slightly larger than others, but all up, you wouldn't want to spend too many nights - of course, people don't spend that long in Agra, despite there being so many incredible sights to visit here. The roof-top restaurant is the main hook - an excellent view across to the Taj. Unfortunately, food quality here is quite poor, as they don't employ a decent chef - in fact, were they too he would demand a far better kitchen than it's current tiny, hot cook-box. We had a good chat to the manager, who is fully aware of the limitations and is going to what he can to increase room sizes and generally smarten up the place, but the weather is a problem and the building is old, which is part of its charm. In all, I would recommend Saniya Palace, but I would take greater care to ensure both an AC room and a good sized one.
