We have stayed in the Apartotel on at least 10 occasions and it never lets us down. The staff are efficient and friendly. The hotel is always very clean and it is located in a great area directly between the old and new towns.

The location is a little remote, close to the bus station, if you drive, you can. Or go out and take a taxi.
I didn't buy breakfast, there is a big supermarket next to it. It is very convenient to buy things! There is a microwave to heat your own food.
The quilt is a bit thin, Albufeira is too cold in winter... You must wear a down jacket and a hat at night, the wind is too cold!

I stayed at the Paladim Alagoamar hotel for 3 nights in February 2025, I would not stay there again. I asked for a room with a shower on a high floor, I was given a room on the ground floor above the bar with a bath/shower. I was glad I had earplugs and an eye shade as the bar is noisy at night & the blackout curtains in room 7 are a joke, they don't fit properly. Sound-proofing is non-existent as I could hear people in the corridor and in other rooms as well as in the bar. Don't know how this is a 4 star hotel, I've stayed in 2 & 3 star rooms that are much better. Room 7 has tired paintwork & needs modernisation, decor is stuck in the 80s. Not enough plug sockets, only 1 in the kitchen area & 1 by the bed if you use the lamp. Be aware I overheard that if you forget an EU plug adapter you will have to buy one, the hotel doesn't lend them out as I have seen elsewhere. Also have to pay extra to use the safe. Bed was fine for me but it was hard so may not be suitable for some. Eve though this room was at the back of the hotel on the Sunday there were constant motorbikes & powerful cars screeching up and down the dual carriageway at the front. This long weekend was a cheap trip for some winter sun-you certainly get what you pay for.

Very nice hotel and good facilities. Good access to shops and transport. There are a number of bars and restaurants all within walking distance. There are also great shopping facilities nearby. The staff are friendly and helpful. Would recommend this for couples

This a nice Hotel close to The Albuferia Terrace shopping mall if you are booking this hotel try for a pool facing room as the road facing rooms get a fair bit of traffic noise, the Reception Staff here are very helpful and friendly the rooms are big and comfortable but what let's it down is the prepaid breakfast which is a joke we gave up on it after two weeks as its a bit of a con it's not worth the money and if you want the normal breakfast you have to pay two euros per person to upgrade you might as well go to the mall and get a lovely breakfast for half the price so if you book this hotel book it room only.
