Golden Tour Hotel

It was my first time to Almaty, and the airport pick-up service was very patient and thoughtful. Apartment-style hotel, with plenty of heating and hot water, very quiet surroundings, Chinese breakfast, and hot millet porridge to warm the stomach on cold winter mornings, I feel very nice.

Overall review 1. Location: It's not downtown, so there are no stores around, so it's inconvenient. You have to call a taxi. 2. Breakfast: Poor. Our group only ate on the first day and didn't eat. 3. Towels: There's a lot of detergent. It seems like the washing machine wasn't cleaned properly. 4. Service: If you run out of water or tea in the room, they should fill it up, but they don't. They don't even give you a tip. They always have to go to the counter to get water. 5. Language: They speak a little English. 6. Facilities: The room is spacious, clean, and nice.

The boss is very straightforward, the hotel room is spacious and clean, and the Chinese food is very decent and cheap! I highly recommend it. Although Shadian opened not long ago, the service is very attentive and meticulous. It is also located on a hillside in the city. It is very good. There is a balcony for smoking, which is very suitable for Chinese people.

It's a B&B in a big villa run by Chinese people, and the rooms are perfect. Full marks for communication, service, and accommodation experience. The real drawback is that the hotel is located halfway up the mountain, in a wealthy villa area, which is quite remote and not suitable for shopping at night. But YANDEX taxi location is no problem at all. The hotel itself has a car that provides free airport pick-up. On the first day, when we arrived in Almaty at 11 pm, the hotel’s free airport pick-up by a Kazakh guy who spoke standard Chinese was very heart-warming. Daily car costs are not expensive (the price of YANDEX Comfort+)

It's a small hotel, but it's very nice. You can pick up from the airport for free and there's no barrier to voice communication.
