The hotel looks brand new, is really well kept, well clean and the service and the staff are very professional and friendly. The location of the hotel is great, right in the center of Amboise, and the parking is very convenient. Also the breakfast is great. The room was really good, great large comfortable bed. The only odd thing was that the hotel blocked 200 euros as a deposit in my credit card, as if I was renting a car, never saw this before in my multiple years of travelling.

Excellent hotel: brand new establishment, perfect location, on-site parking (paid), excellent welcome, and the entire team's kindness.
Very spacious and comfortable room, quality bedding, and very clean.
Located in the heart of Amboise, a 5-minute walk from the royal castle, the historic center, and the Loire River, and 15 minutes from Clos Lucé.
Highly recommended ;-)

A brand new hotel. Sadly it has opened way too early. Building site. Exposed wires, bare earth, air conditioning not working, blocked drains, unmanned reception, horrific smell, wet and dusty floors and no mention of this on booking. Waited to check in as no one could be found. Lobby floors and corridors were wet and sticky. Our room floor was wet and sticky and bathroom floor did not dry during our entire stay. Rooms were tiny and very sparsely appointed. We were charged an additional €15 to park so beware. Given the state of the place it would have been a kind gesture to allow us to park without charge in the empty car park. I brought my concerns to the lady on reception and she said she would pass on my details and to expect a reply the next day - nothing! I subsequently emailed directly and received an unapologetic reply saying I should have mentioned my concerns during my stay, which I did. With this attitude I cannot recommend this hotel and even when works are complete it is still going to be a basic and soulless offering.

Very warm welcome. Superb location, too bad the weather didn't allow us to try the pool! As mentioned below, parking is €15. But when you see the cost of parking in the city, it's really affordable! We had a family room, spacious, beautiful and clean. Substantial breakfast but cold scrambled eggs! Well-located hotel with a view of the castle, which we recommend.

The hotel is superb. The renovation of the place is incredible. The location in the city center, while being quiet, is perfect. The staff is extremely friendly and kind. The possibility of parking in the private lot is very appreciable.

I don't understand how this hotel is a 4-star...the decor and quality of the furniture are worthy of a motel chain - the doors look prefabricated, as do the stairs, whose joints are visible. There is indeed a spa (well, a sauna), but...it costs 30 euros per hour. Nothing is luxurious here. Don't trust the photos...

We had a very warm welcome! But when we got to the room, what a disappointment! It was very hot, 26 degrees, and we didn't have air conditioning or a fan!! And not even a small bottle of water... that doesn't correspond to a 4-star hotel. The room is very simple and small...
