The hotel is located in Erdaobaihe Town, and provides free pick-up and drop-off. Edelweiss is just across the road, and it takes 15-20 minutes to walk to the Merganser Park. It takes about 15 minutes to reach Genting Market. You can order takeout, but there are not many restaurants nearby, so you have to walk to the central street. The room is very large, and you can sleep on the tatami, but you need to add a quilt. The toiletries are all from Oulong. There is a direct drinking water device, which is much cleaner. There is no cover between the shower and the bed, which lacks a little privacy. Everything else is perfect.

Check in area was quite messy, not properly organised. Only one staff to attend to check in/check out when we arrive at evening time. Day time could be better. Need to get breakfast coupon during check in (if you booked with breakfast), and dining area is the hotel beside. Staff in charge of local tour package is helpful and assist us to book the tour as the ticket to Changbaishan was fully sold out. Apparently, visiting Changbaishan needs to pre-book your ticket beforehand to avoid disappointment. Local tour we joined was pretty good as one will be ferried around the 3 main visiting spots by coach. Main plus point is that the hotel is near a hotspring hotel and the entrance point of north slope (both within 3-5 mins walking distance from hotel).

A wonderful trip to Changbai Mountain starts with staying in the right hotel. The area of ​​Baihe Town is very small, so it is very convenient to stay in any hotel. The staff of this hotel are very nice! Drinking water is also available at any time. The room facilities are complete and very clean. The room is not too small.  The water pressure and temperature in the room are very suitable. The hotel's breakfast is very good, and freshly cooked noodles are also provided. You can store your luggage in the morning before going to Changbai Mountain! After going down the mountain, you will also be able to change your heavy clothes. Great! There is a convenience store next to the hotel. The coat rented in the convenience store is 10 yuan cheaper than renting it in the scenic area. The boss lady will suggest that you rent it again that morning depending on the weather conditions. There are also shared bicycles that can be left near the hotel. It is also very comfortable to ride a bicycle around in the afternoon.

I have never been disappointed when choosing Mercure Hotel. I like the French decoration style, especially the one in Changbai Mountain. The service is perfect. They are always responsive and try to help guests. I felt uncomfortable in my stomach at around 11 o'clock in the morning, so I asked the front desk if they could send me a bowl of porridge. The robot brought me hot porridge in a few minutes. When I booked the room, I didn't see the mark that it was only for pick-up at the station. I made an appointment with the front desk to send the train to the station. The front desk actively helped me contact the manager and provided the service of sending the train to the station. The breakfast is also very rich, and Yanbian specialties are also provided... highly recommended! !

The hotel is in a good location, whether it is to go to Tianchi or Edelweiss, it is very convenient. The Edelweiss Reindeer Park is about a seven or eight minute walk, and next to it is the Saltwater River Wetland Park and the Wetland Flower Sea. It is only five or six yuan to the Genting Market. Bring your parents and children together, and choose a duplex. There is a separate bathroom upstairs, which is convenient for washing at the same time. However, because there is no door upstairs and it is not completely separated, the light from downstairs will penetrate, so you can wear an eye mask. The bathroom is all disposable towels, and breakfast is outside the hotel, a one-minute walk. The service is very good and I am generally satisfied.

Beautiful little hotel in a beautiful town called Erdaobaihe. The life here is peaceful and quiet. The hotel itself is perfect. It has everything you need. The breakfast is cost-effective and quite delicious. The location of the hotel is very good. You can stroll around the town, buy food and souvenirs. There is a beautiful park near the hotel where you can relax and unwind. The service attitude is very good. The ladies at the reception counter are helpful and courtious. They treat you nicely and help you solve any problems you may have. They can also provide you with the contact information of some drivers in Erdaobaihe as well as recommend you some places to eat out or have fun. Overall, we were very satisfied with this hotel as it ticked all the boxes for us. We really recommend it and are definitely coming back.

The Chang Bai Shan hot spring hotel is a great hotel and I would highly recommend it to anyone that wants to visit! They have public hot spring pools that are clean with great amenities.  Around the hotel there is a ‘walking street’ with a great selection of shops within walking distance of the hotel, with a grocery store, a couple of restaurants and a gift shop.

The hotel is good, but for foreigners without Chinese moving around, the small city is not easy. It is just so hard to grab a taxi. The last day, the hotel was unable to provide transportation back to the train station. The other night, it was also hard to get a taxi to go for dinner. We needed to wait for the bus and walk. It is not a big distance, but with elders and small kids in freezing temperatures, it is not fun. The hotel is closed to the north entrance for Changbai, but it is a bit far from downtown, where the most people are and the restaurants are. In the end, you can rely on the hotel for transportation.

The hotel is in a great location and convenient for travel! The hotel service is warm and the facilities are complete and new! There is a self-service laundry room, robot delivery, and TV projection, which is simple and convenient. Compared with the local five-star hotel, the comprehensiveness of the service is not much less.

It took a lot of time to find a place to stay in Changbai Mountain to escape the summer heat, and finally determined this hotel that is currently trial operation. The hotel occupies a lot of area, and now there is only one phase of opening. I heard from the hotel staff that the first phase has not been completed. The sound of construction will be heard during the day, but it has basically no impact. The sound insulation of the hotel room is good, but there is still a little smell in the room. The few days we stayed were basically sleeping with the windows open, and the air conditioner in the room was basically not open. The hotel has a pick-up service from Changbaishan Station and Beipo Distribution Center, which is very convenient. The zero-point restaurant in Building 3 is good, and the meat section is quite delicious. Breakfast is quite satisfactory, but if there are many tourists dining, you need to wait. The overall service of the hotel is very satisfactory. The hotel is a small garden, which is within walking distance of Enduli and Genting Market, about 20 minutes. Some suggestions for the hotel: the cleaning in the room has to be strengthened, especially the cleaning of the ground.
