Windmill Hotel

Have traveled far and wide but windmill is our go to happy place! Always a friendly family welcome, feel like were coming home, have aquired many life long friends here over the years, Jenny and family do everything to make you welcome, the staff are just perfect Denise in the snack bar ,Gerri and Christina Jella and the others just love them-breakfast is amazing everything for all tastes -expect to gain weight-pool is great and clean as is everything else -great location 5-10mins stroll to the village for bars , shops restaurants, their other restaurant Kavo is just across the road if you want extra special dining on the sea front, or more sunbeds by day

This really is a lovely, friendly hotel. Bed and Breakfast only (but in Argassi you wouldn't want more than that). The rooms are clean with ample storage. We had a lovely big balcony overlooking the pool. There were always sunbeds available. The bar staff are so friendly, drinks are reasonably priced and the food really is delicious! We will be returning next year.

Late booking for some end of season sun. Two couples with different needs. Mine being a couple of new knees! We had a ground floor room with pool view. The other was a 1st floor room with pool and sea view. We eye both expecting garden view rooms so it was a nice bonus. Rooms basic but with good beds and bathrooms- what more do you need. Pool area nice but was busy at times with some people reserving beds! Just don’t be selfish, especially if you don’t intend to use them until the afternoon! Pool lovely but cold initially as you get in (end sept) but fine after 1st minute. Breakfast had plenty of choice and all nice. No need for anyone to go without. All staff lovely especially Christina, but watch out for her 🕷️ joke! 😅🤣 Cafe area good with good selection of good and drinks at reasonable prices. Hotel up a short drive with slight incline but manageable. Just off the main ***** to loads of shops and restaurants. Being slightly off the main road meant the hotel was peaceful. I imagine some of the other hotels on the main road can be noisy. Good base on the island for exploring if you like to get about with access to the (fun) train, bus and taxis. Bus to Zante €2 each way. Would highly recommend this hotel and looking to book again next year, knowing I’ll be able to get about (with a new knee hopefully!).

Third visit this year and as always fabulous! The rooms are cleaned daily with fresh towels and sheets too! The pool is sparking and pool area washed down daily and no problem fighting over sunbeds as plenty available.Breakfast is first class with everything you could want -too much to list allergies are catered for and also have a gluten free section,snack bar do a tasty range of meals too I particularly enjoyed the gyros platter and egg tuna mayo salad. All the staff are great fun and hard working and a credit to the owner -well they say if you look after your staff they will look after you and it shows! Have already booked twice for next year ! Located 5 mins from the main ***** and is quiet at night and also have a night watchman/receptionist ensuring a good nights sleep,

Had a lovely relaxing week at the end of September. On arrival at the Windmill Hotel we were allocated room 215 which overlooked the pool and had a sea view. We'd booked a garden room view with Jet2 Holidays so the room we got was an unexpected bonus. The hotel is at one end of the Argassi ***** but an easy walk to bars and restaurants. It's close both to Legends and The Green Frog which both have live music every night. Rooms were cleaned every day with fresh towels provided. Staff were all friendly and pleasant. Special shout out to Christina behind the pool bar who was so hard working and friendly with everyone. Plus she helped us improve our Greek beyond Yamas. Breakfast was something for everyone, both hot and cold food. Food and drink at the pool bar was good quality and reasonably priced. No problem getting sunbeds. Air con in the room was good, 10 euros a day but was aware of that in advance. Couldn't get any English channels on the TV but took a firestick which connected easily to the hotel WiFi although didn't really need it. Room came with a kettle, toaster, hairdryer and two ring hob.

What a great find this lovely hotel really is. All of the staff are so friendly. Nothing is a trouble. All areas are spotless. Maids clean rooms every day . Breakfast is great and drinks are all reasonably priced. Situated just on edge of town so lovely and peaceful. Comfy beds too. Will definitely return
