Contessa Hotel

I have done a review before, however it deserves another! This is a brilliant hotel. Every year we return, and every year, it just gets better! This year, the hotel has upgraded the pool area, adding more sunbeds and table and chairs. During the day you have a lovely pool with new and very comfortable sunbeds and umbrellas (without extra charge). The pool bar offers great food all day until late at night. At night you can sit and have drinks and / or cocktails. There is a great ambience all throughout the day and night. All staff are very welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. The hotel rooms are clean, spacious, comfortable and modern. Rooms are cleaned each day with towels being changed every 2 days. If any problems or queries reception staff are always approachable and very friendly. Should you wish to rent a car, need advice where to go for the day or dinner reservations reception staff will only be too happy to help you. Hotel and staff go above and beyond to make sure you make good memories that will last a lifetime. See you next year!

Lovely hotel, conveniently located with lots of restaurants and places to explore. Close to the beach, although the beach isn't the biggest or the best. Stayed in a premium room which meant the access to the fridge, safe and air con was included. Room has a kettle, but you'll need to bring your own tea/coffee etc as it's not provided. Room had a lovely rainfall shower, plenty of space, and was modern. Breakfast was amazing, especially the fried eggs with salsa...yum! Plenty of choice too, and the coffee was decent. Pool bar was great, and the bar staff are amazing and so friendly! Overall an amazing stay, and would definitely recommend.

The Contessa hotel is one of the best hotels in Argassi. Clean,spacious and all the staff are so friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. I have to mention Fethera on reception, she is a wonderful young lady and helped us a lot. The staff work so hard to make our holiday special. Tnak you again Contessa , until the next time. Lovely hotel — great location too! Really enjoyed our stay. The hotel was spotlessly clean, staff were super friendly, and the sunbeds around the pool were really comfy. Honestly, it felt more like a 4-star than a 3-star! The pool area and bar were immaculate and well looked after. The location was great too — loads of shops, bars and restaurants just outside the hotel, so everything you need is right on your doorstep. Only thing to mention is there are quite a few shaded spots around the pool, so in peak season it might be harder to grab a sunny lounger — but we had no problems in June. Would definitely stay again!

Only arrived home yesterday via jet2 after a small delay otherwise ok First two days were quite wet and a chill wind but it picked up after that We chose a private transfer and arrived at the hotel in around 20 mins well worth the extra cost Check in was painless we paid 20 euros for the safe and 50 euros tax for our 10 night stay we didn't need the air con as it got quite cool at night We again paid extra for a pool view room which was spotless we had a kettle so purchased milk from the supermarket which is right outside the hotel and took our own tea and coffee We found a happy anniversary card and a bottle of champagne in our room which was a lovely thought. The breakfast was good with lots of choice it could have been a bit hotter but that's quite usual the continental had a good range of choices if you preferred the drinks prices at the pool bar were reasonable a glass of house wine 5 euros and beer 4.5 euros a pint for draught or a bottle of good wine for 17 euro the food menu was vast and everything we had there was cooked well we spent our anniversary evening at the hotel bbq/greek night which was excellent value and good fun at 25 euro pp. The staff are all very helpful and chatty a big thankyou to Mario Panos and Spiros who work tirelessly and Ellie who makes a wonderful moussaka all in all an excellent holiday we hope to return at the end of the season

Lovely relaxing holiday. 5 star star staff .Phaedra (i wanted to take her home with me ) 😀Ellie,Lydia,Chis. Lovely room with balcony,spotlessly clean ,couldn't fault it. Lovely pool,plenty of very comfortable sun beds. Food and drink pool side excellent.Great Pizzas,burgers and fries made to order (large portions !!) Only reason reason we couldn't give a 5 score was Breakfast wasn't great.Only fresh fruit was Apples,other fruit was tinned in syrup,eggs and 'bacon ' was under a lamp but always cold. Choice of Bread,Coffee and Jams was very good though. We would go back but maybe go out for Breakfast.
