An amazing experience at a fantastic hotel! The staff were all incredible, especially coping with a medical emergency i had upon arrival! Swift action, straight to medical centre and problem resolved! The rest of the week was a joy - amazing food in the restaurant, possibly the best spa we have ever attended, stunning views, piste & winter hiking trails access directly at the back of hotel. Professional, caring & super friendly staff interactions all week - from the restaurants, to desk staff, cleaning teams, everyone... A very family and yet high level care experience. We would love to return time and again - as the saying there goes - 'Once is not enough'. Thank you!!

Great check-in. Lovely delicious dinner. But the pillows and beds were totally subpar. When asked for fresh pillows, they brought the same style.. Unacceptable. Had to ask for better pillows. Expected better from the reviews. Not worth it.

Perfect stay. Well appointed room, huge bathroom with shower, separated WC area, double sink. Very quitet, great curtains. Excellent 4-course menui on half board. Nice heated outdoor pool with jacuzzi, big indoor pool. Plenty of sun beds. Great relax area. Shuttle bus to the train station and Last but not least, very professional staff. Unfortunately I only remeber the name of Max form the reception but everybody else also deserve a specials thanks. The young man who drove the shuttle, the young waiter who speaks italian etc

A Fantastic Hotel : We had a great short break ski experience: great facilities, super ambiance, fantastic food, and extremely helpful friendly staff. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay including the use of the spa facilities and the outdoor warm pool. We were blessed with good snow so enjoyed three days of skiing and one day of walking along snow covered designated walking paths. A great location.

Could recommend staying at Waldhotel Arosa 10/10. Staff is lovely, rooms are spacious, food is delicious and the spa luxurious. Hospitality is also immense, be it the flexibility of the shuttle bus drivers or in general, the ability of the staff to come up with solutions. Will certainly come back. Thank you!

Historic gem a short steep walk (or shuttle bus, or 12 CHF taxi) from the station. German Nobel Prize winning author Thomas Mann came to the Waldhotel frequently a century ago and announced his exile from Hitler’s Germany while staying in the hotel in 1933. Scenes from his novel Buddenbrooks are set here. Lovely service; you may have to book supper before you arrive (we didn’t - a wedding party had filled the restaurant both evenings we were there) and do book the shuttle bus to be sure you have a place. Buffet breakfast truly outstanding - some nice touches like the ‘push this button to get a freshly cut pat of Swiss butter’ to the press-your-own apple/carrot/ginger/cucumber juice machine and great smoked salmon. Egg bar …. in fact everything except bacon, kippers and black pudding. Single rooms remarkably good value (at about half the rate of a double). But then the double room we had was huge. The restaurant looks pretty modern but clearly standards of 'modern' are much stricter here: it’s going to get a complete makeover in the autumn of 2022. To be recommended. We’re already looking forward to a repeat visit !

Beautiful hotel. Exceptionally good staff that is always available. Lots of extra service and attention to detail. Big new Spa. Everything very clean (our room was spotless, perfection) Good food and nice bar. The whole hotel is cozy yet modern at the same time.

Einfach ein Rundum-Sorglospaket für die ganze Familie. Wir lieben es und freuen uns ein ganzes Jahr auf den nächsten Aufenthalt im Waldhotel. Auch im Hallenbad wurde sogar an die kleinsten gedacht mit den Wasserspielen oder für die ganze Familie ein Saunaerleb nis zu nutzen ist alles nicht selbstverständlich. Wir lieben das Waldhotel. Auch das Personal ist sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und äusserst aufmerksam, von den einfachen Mitarbeitenden bis hoch zur Geschäftsleitung. Passt alles wunderbar. Ein Traum ist auch das neu eingerichtete Fitnesscenter im 4. Stock mit bombastischer Aussicht. Da hat es sogar uns gereizt, einwenig Fitness zu treiben und die nigelnagelneuen Geräte machen richtig Spass zum benützen.
