"The Tschuggen Grand is an outstanding hotel; we were in a suite on the top floor with a stunning view. The staff was very friendly and competent, although some of them had just started their first season with the hotel. The pools are excellent and a perfect alternative when it is snowing outside. The dinner in the Grand Restaurant deserves a special mentioning; we chose three courses and each of them was outstanding. Seeing the bill of the meal was also a pleasant surprise: prices are really reasonable in view of the quality you get. Last but not least: the private cable car of the hotel granting direct access to the slopes is an extra hard to find elsewhere."

"I had a great stay at the Hotel Sourcehof in Arosa! The price-performance ratio is simply unprecedented. The view of the surrounding mountains is breathtaking and invites to stay. Breakfast was excellent – a large selection, fresh products and everything you need to make a perfect start in the day. I would like to emphasise especially the uncomplicated self-in and check-out, both which have worked quickly and smoothly – ideal for stress-free arrival and exit. The cleanliness of the entire hotel was unsmooth, making the stay even more pleasant. In total, a wonderful hotel that I will definitely recommend. I'll be happy to come back!"

"We have come back to Hof Maran during the Christmas week, and once again, we have ben fully satisfied of our choice. With its peaceful location, this has been a further chance to recharge our batteries and enjoy the enthusiasm of our daughters on the slopes. The hotel staff has been impeccable and their atention to the guests' satisfaction has been remarkable (as for the last time): there is nothign better than feeling like at home while being aay from home. Wheter at breakfast, lunch or dinner, the food offer is always of high quality and with plenty of choices. We feel very comfortable in highly recommend this hotel!"

"Valsana Hotel in Arosa was a fantastic experience. The setting is beautiful — surrounded by stunning alpine scenery that makes it easy to unwind. The hotel itself is modern yet warm, with spacious, well-designed rooms that feel comfortable and thoughtfully put together. The beds were very comfortable, and we slept well throughout our stay. Breakfast was excellent, with a great selection and high-quality ingredients. It felt generous without being overwhelming. The spa facilities were a real highlight. The hot and cold plunge pools and sauna were especially enjoyable after a day out. The gym is well equipped — far better than the typical hotel setup — and the complimentary yoga session for guests was a great touch. It was professionally led and a genuinely enjoyable part of the stay. What stood out most was the staff. Friendly, attentive, and very responsive to last-minute requests. The service felt natural and seamless. Overall, they’re clearly doing something right. We’ll definitely be back."

"This hotel should be closed down or the management fired. It's neglected and appears to have been affected by cost-cutting measures that are lowering the quality in every area. The rooms could use some modernization, the food is outrageously overpriced, the à la carte menu is a joke (mainly soup, steak tartare, or three hamburgers), and the set menu consists of a salad bar (10 CHF), a soup (12 CHF), and a choice of two main courses (35 CHF) – either meat or vegetarian – plus dessert or cheese. Even the children's menu is more extensive. Waiting times are extremely long, depending on occupancy. Breakfast itself is acceptable to good, but it's not replenished regularly or promptly. You might have to wait 10 minutes for fresh bacon because it's only refilled when it's empty. Due to staff shortages, dishes are left unused or there aren't enough clean ones. The room doors let in every sound, and the curtains and carpets are old. Even the Wi-Fi is terrible and cumbersome. The cleaning team is also understaffed: sometimes a room is forgotten, the trash isn't emptied, and toilet paper isn't replenished. The billiard room is dusty, and some of the cues are broken. The staff tries their best, but they're powerless, especially when the hotel is surprisingly fully booked. If you're not tied to the hotel's amusement park, which isn't really great anyway, then any other hotel in Arosa offers better alternatives."

Good regular bus transport from outside the hotel with access to to the mountain area for walking and cable car access to the Weisshorn Staff excellent - friendly, welcoming and helpful. Room very clean and spacious with balcony overlooking the mountains. Sauna, steam room and gym clean and well equipped. Breakfast and 3 course evening meals very good. A wonderful week's stay. Highly recommended"
