"Everything is perfect! As long as I return to Avignon, I will make a reservation again! The friendly staff, especially the waiter who helped to carry luggage, came out to meet us and always smiled. There are also staff at the counter who can communicate in Chinese, which is a very recommended restaurant."
"The old rooms and facilities are worth seeing and very stylish, our room had a great view. Our room was one of the most beautiful in which we have stayed in Europe. However, the service leaves a lot to wish, especially for the price of the night. We spent two next people here, had to search employees several times every evening to give up our orders in the bar and then had to do with unfriendly and unmotivated staff. Cocktails were good, food in the bar - again for the price and the hotel category - miserable. But the rooms and old sofas of the bar are worth a visit. The choice of breakfast is just appropriate once you have looked through the chic presentation of the buffet and the quality is not noticeable. However, the breakfast room is again impressive and moodful. The hotel is overlooking by external tourists at the daily afternoon tea, so you can luckyly have a table as a guest, but then there was only a limited selection of the cook menu on both days, Because everything was already sold out and that was not only at a late time. And here too you can wait for an everlasting service! Rooms were very well maintained, also friendly and helpful room girls. More than one night we would not recommend here, but well suited for a visit to the Pastor. Require the route plan before arrival, it is very helpful and urgently necessary for the tight one-way routes of the old town! But this is a good way for the route."

"The location of the hotel is very good, close to the old city wall and the Avignon city train station. It is very convenient to walk to the attractions of the old city. There are also many restaurants and bars nearby."
"Because it was a summer check-in and the first floor of the room, I found a lot of ants and other insects because it was a holiday season. The hotel was full of business. The rooms were full and could only be sprayed with the insecticide provided. There is no way to understand the place."
"The owner of the house is an artist who lived in China for 9 years, and the interior is filled with many Chinese elements. The host was very considerate and enthusiastically introduced the attractions, restaurants and transportation routes of A**ong, and also prepared lemonade. The hotel is in a great location, just inside the city wall, only a 15-minute walk from the centre train station, and all attractions are within walking distance"
"The hotel is located on the outskirts of Avignon, the facilities are relatively new, the interior decoration is also good, the hotel has a swimming pool on the first floor, friends who like sports can choose, breakfast is standard, but dinner is very convenient, you don't have to go out of the hotel, the price Acceptable, the price is not cheap."
"The hotel is located in the old city and needs to find a place to park by yourself. But fortunately, we can find a nearby location every time. The hotel room was rebuilt from an old house, the bathroom was slightly smaller, but it was not worth mentioning compared to the style of the old city. Bathing is enough. The room intimately adds heating equipment in different locations, so there is no need to worry about the cold in winter. There is also a family-style breakfast, elegant and delicious. The boss is very interesting and will introduce the hotel and nearby dining very interestingly. Warm and rich in French humor, it is a very good person. Usually walking to the nearby church market or the papal palace is very close. We drove to Arles and Stone City, also within an hour. It is recommended to experience the style of the medieval ancient city."

"A hotel that is solemnly recommended, the owner is very enthusiastic, the decoration is a bit ancient, but the facilities are completely modern, the room is oversized, and there is a terrace, which is thoughtful and comprehensive for the guests. The transportation is very convenient, suitable for self-driving travel, the Pope's Palace is open for 10 minutes. Ducks are arranged for dinner, with good red wine and cheese, a completely different experience."

Outstanding
GGuest UserConsidering self-driving, I chose the Mercure Hotel near the A**weng High-speed Railway Station. The hotel is generally acceptable, the buffet breakfast is relatively simple, there is free parking, and it is a 10-minute drive from the city center. There are no commercial facilities around. Checking the map, it seems that there is a larger Carrefour.
XXiaoxuan3490The room was very good, and felt like home. The location was also very good. Turn left from the train station and walk less than 100 meters. The city wall was across the road. The breakfast was also good. There were many bus stops around, and you could walk to the attractions. It was also very convenient to take the train to Arles. We arrived at around 10 am that day, put our luggage at the hotel, and took the train to Arles. We returned at around 3 pm.
NNat 李凤临One tiny elevator, many stairs, and outdated magnetic key cards that too often don’t work, spoiled my first positive impression. One morning I came down to the reception three times and eventually the receptionist went upstairs with me to help. But I almost missed my paid tour.
The front desk and house keeping staff was always smiling, pleasant, and willing to help.
The room was small yet charming, very tidy and clean, with a great view of the central square. Windows with good insulation so the noise from the street was minimal. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom small but with a tub!
The breakfast hall was gorgeous and the breakfast decent, with mainly French pastry and desserts, besides cheese, ham, pastry (breads and sweets) and some fruit and vegetables.
Besides the renovated facilities and excellent location, there is no pool, sauna, spa, gym or any other amenities that would qualify this as a 4* hotel.
Also, I forgot my iPad in the room safe when I checked out. The hotel contacted me and offered to send it to my new destination. However, they did not actually send it by express mail even though they said that they did. My iPad arrived to Montpellier after I had already left. I waited for it three days ( it’s 1h away) but because they didn’t check the SEND ON SATURDAY option on the mailing form, the device spent the weekend in the post office.
The fee that they asked me to I pay was 37€ because as they said it was sent express mail and with insurance - however when I asked the hotel in Montpellier to send it to Barcelona (another country and 3,5h away) I paid almost the same amount!? Plus the hotel used “peek’in” service so I immediately had insight into the delivery progress online.
The worst thing for me was that they kept on sending emails insisting they were right and tried their best to help, instead of admitting they made a mistake. I appreciate their effort but it’s better to work smart rather than hard. Instead of having to thank someone for trying I need my iPad delivered to me on time. Perhaps there are too many women in the management that are taking things too personally? 🤷🏼♀️

SSamThis hotel is located within the city walls pedestrianise area but is assessable by car as the entrance to the car park from the main road. Very close to all major tourist location. The bed is comfortable with a decent shower pressure. The breakfast is good with a good variety of hot and cold food selections.

YYANYUCost-effective, travel alone is also recommended, the front desk is good.
Because I booked for one night, but I also needed to stay in Interlaken for most of the night the next day. I was worried about the luggage problem. The front desk was very refreshing and let it be stored. Breakfast is average, but cost-effective, generally recommended

SSHENGXINThis hotel is very nice, with a separate yard, very quiet. Not far from the central station and the Palais des Papes, but also with a kitchen, you can eat it yourself. If you check in later than 7pm, the hotel will send you an email in the afternoon to inform you of the check-in method. It is very detailed. If the check-out time is earlier than the hotel front desk, please put the room card in the room and close the door. . The only bad thing is that there are no slippers. Take it with you. The hotel has its own car park, but it is estimated that it must be booked in advance, not much location.

卡卡普多兰多贺知章The location is very convenient, there is a large free parking lot, it is very suitable for self-driving tour. We are on Christmas holiday, but it is unexpected to have dinner at night. The young man at the front desk was very welcoming and provided us with a free map, as well as information on the route to the Palais and the parking lot.
RROCKmaoRoom Typical European Hotel Small Room
Fortunately, the location is very convenient, within 20 minutes walk from the high-speed rail station
It takes ten minutes to walk to Carrefour Burger King, which is very convenient.
However, the room does not have a bathroom, it needs to be partitioned in the public toilet, shower and toilet, the temperature is low in winter is inconvenient
The average price for hotels in Avignon is AED 738 on weekdays, and AED 762 on weekends (Friday-Saturday).
