The Fibar Hotel Zincirlihan Is an ancient caravanserai converted to a modern hotel in a sympathetic way. The rooms that would have accommodated guests over the centuries continue to do so, but now with ensuite shower rooms with good quality toiletries, plenty of hot water and soft towels. There is a lot of restored dark wood in the furniture and panelling, but the room felt warm and welcoming and not austere. Beds are comfortable and the air conditioning / heaters worked well. Some rooms are on 2 floors with a mezzanine upper level bed. Turkish breakfast was typical plated food, but the setting is special. The central area of the han (caravanserai) where animals would have stayed in the past is now a cobbled courtyard with well spaced tables. There is also space under the raised walkway around the walls which give shade or rain protection. Fibar Hotel Zincirlihan is in central Aydın with parking directly off a main street. Restaurants shops and tourist sites are within easy walking distance. This is a han which continues to offer convenient, safe, friendly, inexpensive comfort.

A beautiful hotel that was picked purely on photos and it did not disappoint. The staff were just beautiful. The building and facilities were stunning. A great stop after a busy day touring The menu was very good and the staff wanted to try their English so that was so much fun

The historical hotel I entered by chance in Aydin dates back to 1780. It is operated as Fibar Zincirlihan Hotel. The hotel serves as bed and breakfast. I would like to thank Erol Bey, the restaurant attendant and a good conversationalist who knows the history. It has free parking. It is suitable for disabled people. You can eat in the restaurant. I recommend the Cokertme kebab. The mixed grilled meat is tender and the prices are reasonable. It is clean, cafe service is also provided. Transportation service is also provided. There is no alcohol. It is in the style of a boutique hotel. I definitely want those who come to Aydin to come here and see it. 🧿👍

Although it is visually appealing and satisfying as a historical place, I ate the worst food I have ever eaten in my life. The beef Turkish delight was hard to cut with a knife. The Adana was burnt. The stuffed meatballs were very bad. The stuffing on the outside was uncooked dough and the minced meat inside still burns my stomach. The only good thing was ayran. I will not go again and I do not recommend it.
