Fabulous Victorian Building in a stunning cherry tree lined street. Superb Scottish breakfast too. A really hospitable host and the direct booking and pre check in was excellent. I highly recommend this lovely place to anyone visiting Ayr.

We had an amazing time here at Lochinver Guest House. I never stay anywhere else when I am visiting Ayr. Sinclair, Berthold and their amazing team of staff were all so friendly, accommodating and delivered a 5⭐️ service. Amazing variety of foods for Breakfast, Full Lochinver breakfast is very tasty and scrambled eggs are the best. Rooms are beautiful, beds are so very comfy too. Highly recommend staying here you will not be disappointed. ⭐️

A lovely guest house in a quiet location, walking distance into Ayr and the sea front. Nice welcome at reception , recommend restaurants in the area . Lochinver is Spotless clean, beautifully decorated with nice big rooms. The breakfast was great and good value Highly recommend for a short break.

What a wonderful oasis of charm and calm. Sinclair was an excellent host. The rooms very beautifully fitted out with elegant furniture in a charming house. Fantastic breakfast. Stayed at the beginning of our trip into the Highlands and had to finish our trip here also. Absolutely wonderful!!

Wonderful hospitality and a lovely building. My wife and I shared a room, our teenage son had one of his own. We all had a lovely time in Ayr and at the Guest House in particular. We hope to be back soon!

Beautiful guest house and made extremely welcome by the host. The Cunningham suite is beautiful with a really comfortable 4 poster bed. The breakfast was to die for and cooked to perfection. Will certainly be returning and is central for all amenities 👌🏻

The hotel was located near the beach and the city centre. It was very clean with a great breakfast. The room was spacious with good facilities. Parking was on the street with a permit from the hotel. I would recommend it to anyone who needs a place to stay in Ayr.
