Nicely located near to the centre of Bacalar and many nice restaurants and beach clubs at arms length. Azul 36 is a nice small hotel with very friendly staff who do their best to make your stay as comfy as possible. There is a pool area which is partly in the shade and a sun roof terrace with lounge corner and tub to cool down. The rooms are modern beach style and the beds are comfortable.

A little oasis.. Azul 36 was just perfect, we loved our 3 night stay. Comfy bed, good shower, great Aircon, the pool is small but beautiful, check in was easy, breakfast was delicious and it’s a 5 min walk into town. We had a parking space but there’s plenty of on street parking too. It was our wedding anniversary when we arrived and my hubby had organised a bottle of fizz for us, which was cooling in an ice bucket, with two champagne flutes and even a rose. Just lovely.

Stayed here for just one night on a trip to Bacalar lagoon. For the short time at the hotel, everything was good: centrally located but far enough from the noise, comfy beds, good AC, plenty of daylight in the rooms and very friendly staff. Did not use the pool but it looked well kept and the greenery on site was a pleasure to see. Would recommend and stay here again.

Heerlijk kleinschalig hotel. Medewerkers zijn vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Ligt op loopafstand van het gezellige centrum en het wonderschone meer. Sla zeker een boottrip op het meer niet over! Grote schone kamer, heerlijke douche, alleen maar positief.

Super schön bebaute und bepflanzte Anlage. Zimmer super schön und mit viel Platz und Ablagefläche eingerichtet. Es gab eine Minibar und die Poolzeiten von 08-20 Uhr waren auch sehr grosszügig. Boden im Hotelzimmer war leider dreckig, aber das ist auch schon der einzige Kritikpunkt. Checkout war erst um 12 Uhr, top!

Tout est beaucoup moins beau que sur les photos. Surtout la chambre, et surtout la salle d’eau qui est vieillotte et petite. C’est calme. Le petit déjeuner est agréable. Il y a une fontaine à eau bien pratique. Le personnel est très gentil comme partout dans la région. On nous a conseillé un bon resto.

Excelente ubicación, hotel pequeño, muy agradable. El staff muy amable y servicial. Desayuno básico, buen sazón! Tiene lugar para estacionar tu vehículo y la zona muy tranquila. Habitaciones sencillas, limpias y funcionales. Instalaciones limpias y zonas de descanso muy acogedoras.

Très bel hôtel. D’une belle teinte de bleu. Le petit hamac sur la terrasse est très sympathique. La petite attention avec les pétales de roses étaient très jolies et parfumées. La piscine sur le roof top n’est pas chauffée mais agréable. Le petit-déjeuner est pas mal. Ce n’est pas très loin de la lagune donc appréciable
